After talking with chef I went outside to look, the progress that is made so far. And I see my garden is getting set for tomorrow I know they will get work done fast. Then I went inside in my study and sat their by the window and opened a book I was reading.
I got so deep in reading that I didn't hear someone has come and sat next to me until they cleared their throat. I look up and see mom sitting their with a scold on her face.
"oh, I didn't hear you coming", I said.
"Well I can see that but did you forget we need to make calls", She said.
"Noooo, I was just going to come and ask for Emily's number", I said.
"Well, I know what happened and I'm not wasting any time, here I'm calling Emily first, then Darren", she said then dialed Emily's number.
I put the book away as Emily picked up the call, and mom was talking to her.
"Emily Grace is here with me and she want to talk with you,........... yeah......yeah.............okay.........no I'm giving her the phone now so you ask her yourself", mom said as she pass me the phone.
"Hello Emily, how are you", I spoke to her.
"Oh Grace I'm fine how are you", she said.
"I'm great", I replied
"So, when are you coming here to visit me Grace", she asked.
"Well soon, bit I have called you today to give an order actually", I said and continued " tomorrow I need a sweet table for a brunch party for about thirty people, can you do it.".
"Sure thing Grace what time would you like this to be set up", she asked me.
"Well by eleven I would like it to be set up so all of us can enjoy it", I said to her.
"Okay what thing would you like me to add sweetie", She asked me.
"Less sugar desserts, some fruit desserts and brownies too other than that you can add desserts of your liking", I said as I know that she can make everything perfectly.
"Okay I'll get it done and I'll get back too you for confirmation of all the dishes...", Emily spoke but I stopped her.
"Emily, Don't stress about this its only an family brunch and I just want natural desserts more then other once for tomorrow", I said to her cause I know she was stressing out.
"Okay I'll make the perfect table and will set up by eleven", she said and continued "Okay this is done so when are you coming to meet me".
"Well I'll come really soon but right now I would like to invite you and your family to join us at brunch tomorrow, and I'm not hearing no from you", I said to her and added the last part as I know she will protest.
"Okay we will be their on time and tell Lisa to text me your address", Emily said.
"No, problem, I'll send you the address and also dad is coming tomorrow so you can come with him and find your way here easily", I replied to her and saw mom asking for the phone" Emily mom wants to talk with you so I'll give her the phone and you all have to come tomorrow" I said and pass the phone to mom.
They talk for a while which then disconnected the call. then mom dialed dad's number and was talking to her and I zoned out a bit, when I heard mom's voice.
"Grace tell him that he need to take the car not his old truck", mom said to me and pass me the phone.
"Hey, dad", I said to him.
"Hey, darling how are you", he asked me I know to distract me.
"I'm good dad, but what are you fighting for with mom", I asked him and heard a sigh.
"Well Lisa is telling me to take my car not the truck but you know how much I feel comfortable in my truck", He told me.
"Dad just take the car this time you can bring truck next time and also Emily is coming too so it would be easy for you guys to travel in car tomorrow and beat the traffic", I said to him I know it was just a try not that dad will listen to me that easily.
"Okay fine I'll take the car and tell Lisa I'll be on time, their is a customer standing here I'll call your mom later", He said to me.
"Okay I'll see you tomorrow", I said to him and disconnected the call. Look up at mom and she was looking at me to know what we talked about. " h said that he will bring car tomorrow and call you back after some time", I told her and she was socked but so was I because dad loves his truck and it's almost impossible to convince him bring his car.
"Okay now that's settle I need to go and check on your brother", she said and left to search for Nick and Zack, and I continued reading my book.

We all were sitting in kitchen, and talking about some stuff while eating some snacks the chef is making for tomorrow when mom's phone start ringing. We all stopped talking and waited for her to pick up the call. And she answered.
"Hey.....yeah..........okay........no she is here with me.......okay......no I'll give her the phone you can ask her", She said and pass me the phone and mouthed Emily to me.
"Hello Emily", I said.
"Hello Grace , I called you o confirm all the desserts that will be served tomorrow", She said to me.
"Of course, just tell me the names and I'll pick tell you", I told her.
"okay so I'm listing things just stop me on the product you want to be removed", she said and start telling me all the items which most of them I approved but removed two or three items from it and kept a little simple.
"That would be enough for us and I talked with Darren so you can travel together and come here with any trouble", I said to her.
"Sure thing and tell Lisa I'll meet with you guys tomorrow", She said and bid her good bye and we disconnected the call.
After that we all had a light dinner and slept earlier so we can be refreshed and energies in morning. Tomorrow is going to be a great day I can feel it.
