Coming to new for brunch at Grace's was a good plan for the weekend. But seeing different things unfold in front of me was something I didn't expected. Firstly Grace was not Lisa's daughter which I knew somehow, secondly Grace's father was a business tycoon and a big name, and thirdly she was someone who have many secrets and traumas in her life.
I was really impressed by her from the beginning and now I know she hold's a lot of pain inside her then she let anyone know. Both my sister's took a liking in her and my mom was already a fan.
Her father was someone who we didn't expected but he said some things which made me wonder, who exactly was Grace. I don't know about her real mother but their was a drift in her family just like it was in ours.
I was going to a meeting, with someone it was for business nothing personal. I was meeting with a café owner who was interested in buying our desserts so I was just taking some samples for tasting. this will be a profitable deal and I was looking forward too. Mom know some part of this deal but not all.
I reached the café quite faster then I thought. it was near Grace's mansion. I parked my car and took the samples from it I went inside, their was a girl standing taking orders and no one else was their so I was waiting in the line.
"Hello, what can I get you", She asked.
"Hi, I was looking for the manager I have a meeting today with her", I said.
"Okay please wait at that table I'll get the manager", She said and went to get the manager. I went to the table and waited for her.
I was sitting there for about ten minutes when the manager came and sat in front of me. We greeted each other and sat together talking.
"Sorry to keep you waiting we have a big delivery schedule for today and I was busy there It took more time then expected", she said.
"It's alright We have the same kind of problems sometimes", I said in a joking way.
"Okay so let's talk about business", She said.
We talk for around half an hour she tasted our pastries, tarts and donuts which I bought even gave a huge order that we need to star from next week.
"Thank you for your time, we will deliver everything on time", I said.
"We will display your desserts from next week," She said.
"Sure, I will contact you for the desserts before delivery", I said and got up shaking hands with her, I took my leave.

I was going back to Grace's place, while driving I was thinking what she was hiding, mom was calm when she meet her father. I think she knows about Grace more then she let us know. And it was a big surprise to know who was Grace's father. The big business tycoon Mr. Alexander Knight, he was my Idol when I was in school. He came to give a speech at our uni. too that time I saw him live, he was so so amazing I was ready to apply for internship under him, but sometimes life doesn't give you lemons they throw stones at you.
I came back before I could get my degree, before my final year, mom was struggling with the shop and with twins she got some medical issues too, that's why I came back from my university, I was taking care of them since then.
I reached her mansion, I got in and saw mom sitting with Lisa and talking she was way to engrossed to even know I was their.
" Mom where are the twins", I asked her.
"Oh you are back how did the meeting went", she asked.
"Well it went well and we got the deal", I said at this she gave me a hug and told me that twins were by the pool with Grace. She was telling lisa about all the deal.
I went to the pool side and hear what twins were talking and they were just having fun, then I heard they were planning to do a prank on me so I thought this was the right to let them know my presence.
"Well I didn't know you guys were playing so many pranks", I said from behind.
"Chase how are you, how's your day, Rose I think we should swim some more", Lily said as she and Rose start swimming again. I shook my head.
I look at grace she look beautiful sitting there, she is tall and really fit not in a type you could say she have starved herself. I was checking her out when I notice she was doing the same.
"Like what you see", I teased her.
"Huh, I have seen better ", She said and turned her head but their was a little blush on her cheeks.
"I can tell you are lying princess", I said to her in low voice. Before she can reply Lily shouted for me.
"Chase come swim with us", She said and Rose was also nodding.
"No we will go for a swim some other time, get out from their we need to leave now", I told them and both of them pouted I turned around and stopped looking at grace and said "you have a beautiful smile when you are not on guard".
I walked inside to get mom ready, Darren is staying for the night but we have work and twins have school so we are leaving early.
I hope that I can see and find out more what grace is holding inside her.
