After father arrived, mom and dad were waiting in the living room they all just greeted each other, I introduced Emily and her family to him and we all talked about some things here and there. I also found that Chase's father is not in picture anymore well Emily is divorced and not to ask Chase about his father.
Right now we are outside having brunch, today my chef outdid herself. She made all the dishes that we prefer and most delicious meal too. I look at the desserts Emily have made, she have bought tarts, pastry, éclairs, pudding, brownies also a mini chocolate fountain too.
We all were enjoying our food I was sitting beside mom and Emily and next to her were twins. Dad was in front of mom father next to him and then both my brothers Chase was in front of one of the twin. We were talking when father took a glass and chimed it with a spoon lightly to get our attention. And he spoke.
"Today is really incredible for me, I'm here with my lovely daughter I want to thank Lisa and Darren for taking care of her when I was not their for her even When my wife did something that broke our relation still you loved her like your own", Father said and took a deep breath.
"And boys thank you for always being their with her as protective brothers, I only have one child and where I failed to protect her You guys were their for her as a parent as a father I failed her", He continued and look at me with tears in his eyes, "sorry princess for not being their for you, I can't say the same for your mother but as I have said before, I'm going to be present in your life from now on and I'll always be great full of White family for taking care of my girl."
"Alexander, Grace is like our daughter so don't thank us, just spent time with her she needs you as much as she needs us", Dad said.
"If you don't mind me asking, what are Mrs. White thoughts about Grace being here and living with us", Zack asked, Lisa shushed him but he was looking for answers.
"I don't take account for my wife's action. But one thing is for sure she will come around soon, no mother can stay away from her daughter", Father said.
"Don't get us wrong Mr. white but we don't want Grace to go through the same pain that she went as a child, but if you are planning to stay with her don't break her expectations from her parents", Zack said to him.
"Just call me Alex no formalities, and I know you guys are looking out for Grace but no need to stress I'm after all her father and I'll always protect her and no more tears for my daughter", Father said.
"Okay guys that's enough of taking lets have some dessert, Emily made them and all are looking so delicious", I said to everyone, just to break the ice and tension. "Father I have specially ordered Fruit tart and pudding for you, and for Dad éclairs and pastry".
Everyone then have desserts and complimented Emily for her work. Chase was not talking much with anyone just replying some questions here and their. Father was having fun with everyone and we were enjoying ourselves , after having our little brunch father got called back home. Mother was having some friends over and want father back. I was standing on the door seeing of my father.
"I really enjoyed today we will do something like this again, and maybe your mother can come too", He said to me.
"Father, I'll try to talk with her but you know how she behaves with White's and I don't want to make them uncomfortable" I said.
"Just try once", He said and hugged me then sit in his car and drove away.

After father has left, I went back and finished with the brunch now we all were sitting in living room and talking. I was seated next to Lily and rose on a couch, while Mom and Emily were sitting on the other couch with Chase while Dad, and both my brothers were seated together.
"Mom I have a meeting with someone so I'll be back in an hour" Chase said to his mother.
"Okay, stay out of trouble", Emily said and Chase nodded while taking car keys. And walked outside.
"Who is Chase meeting with Emily someone special", Mom asked teasingly.
"No its just for a deal in our business he is taking with someone", Emily said.
"Well you should have told us we know some cafe's here who would love to sell your sweet's", Mom said like she knows something more then she was letting us know.
"Sister Grace Can we go to the pool", Rose ask me.
"Sure thing did you guys have swim suits", I ask them.
"Mom did you bring any swim suit", Lily asked Emily.
"Yes darling, I bought it but It was in car and chase took it so you guys can't swim now", Emily replied.
"Its okay I have some in your size lets go upstairs and change", I said and took both girls with me.
I gave them two cute swim suits that I had and I change into one too. We all went down and I told the chef to bring some refreshments by the pool side. both girls can swim quiet well. They were enjoying and playing around I also joined them.
We were sitting their for an hour, And drinking lemonade while girls were also having sandwiches they were happy. Both girls were telling me stories about their school, trips and all things they do. Pranks on Chase and helping around the Café. We didn't notice someone was standing behind us.
"Well I didn't know you guys were playing so many pranks", Chase said from behind.
