It has been two weeks since I left Sebastian Sallow in the corridor, gaping at me as I blurted out all that I had wanted to say to him for the last two years.

Two weeks since we had last spoken. Two weeks since his eyes never stopped searching for my own in every room I entered. I had spoken with Ominis about the event that took place and he provided me with much needed support.

"He deserves it." He expressed, no flicker of remorse within his tone.

He did didn't he? Sebastian had treated me horribly, as if I was a mere weapon he could use at his command. So why was I feeling so...guilty? Perhaps I was too harsh on him, I frequently thought, but then again, he didn't think twice to leave me to rot in the snakes pit, so why should I care?

Although the weight off my shoulders had been lifted, I found myself constantly feeling...empty. I couldn't describe it very well, but I just felt like there was something missing.

"Boo!" Poppy yelled as she suddenly appeared in front of my face, startling me out of my trance.

"Merlin Poppy, you terrified me!" She started to giggle, clutching her stomach with her dainty hands. Her chocolate coloured hair seemed to have grown longer, just dropping down to her shoulders. She was certainly a beautiful girl, and I couldn't help but wonder how it felt like to be that pretty.

"I'm sorry Y/N I couldn't help it! You seemed so lost in your own thoughts, I couldn't let the opportunity slip away." I gave her a scoff as she smirked at me, sitting down beside me. I was in the library, pretending to be nose deep in a book, but truthfully, I was just trying to gather my bearings.

"If you weren't so adorable, I would have thrown you to the other side of the room." I joked and she started to tickle me, her fingers digging into my neck, and I started to squeal.

"P-Poppy, P-please s-stop!" I begged as I squirmed around like a worm. Her addictive laugh brought a smile to my face, despite the pure torture she was putting me through.

"Alright alright!" She finally stopped her tickle punishment and looked at me with her bright blue eyes.

"Are you coming to the party tonight?" I raised a brow.

"What party?"

"My house are organising it in our common room! It's an attempt to have a bit of a get together since it's our final year."

I snorted and laughed, leaving her to look at me confusingly.

"A hufflepuff party? Since when did the badger decide to come out and play." She scoffed, wrapping her arms to her chest.

"We can also have fun, thank you very much! Not all of you Slytherins are as wild as you claim to be."

"I claim no such thing, I am merely making an observation." I did love teasing her, she was easy to infuriate, but she knew it was all jest.

"I'm going go pretend you didn't say that..." I laughed in response.

"So...are you coming or not?"

I sighed, clasping my book to a close as I turned round to look at her more closely. "Parties aren't really my thing-"

"Pish posh, such terrible excuses! Besides, Ominis is going to be there."

Ominis? That cheeky lad forgot to mention this to me.

"Well that's news to me, I'm going to have to berate him later."

"He told me you would come." I groaned. Of course he did. He was definitely, going to get confringo'd when I saw him.
