A/N:  Sorry if this and the next chapter are kind of bad, I've been running on pure Caprisun and Danganronpa at the moment and I might pass out. Also the plot might get a little janky because I'm wondering if I should take something out, so like the last sentence of the previous chapter plus this and the next one might get changed, which will lead to prolonged updates (even more than they already are). I thought this was important so here ya go. Anywho- Back to reading! <3

【Hajime's Pov】

I leaned against my room wall, in a call with Makoto.

"Are you sure? That's pretty impossible..." Makoto doubted.

"I'm...positive." I spoke quietly.

"Don't you have to see the state of the body?" He questioned.

"Yes."

"Alright. Well, we have documents on the body, Byakuya will have to send them to you. I don't think I can...see anything like that." Makoto audibly shook, seeming to remember something.

"Thanks, Makoto." I sat down on my bed for a moment until I heard the ping from my tablet the foundation had given me. I put my phone down on the table and went to get it, turning it on to see the message. They were digital files.

I inspected the photos of her body. They were gruesome. She had holes and discoloration scattered across her skin, which was pale and ghoul-like. But she had died only a bit less than a month ago.

I put it back down. I couldn't look for long. It was...too much. I sat on my bed with a deathly headache. It happened every time his genius came into play.

I had an idea. An outlandish idea. But there was a slim chance...a bit of hope.

I stood in the gloomy room. 5 surgeons surrounded me, dressed in white and blue. But they weren't operating on me this time.

I looked in the doors' window. A table and tools. Wires were scattered across the ground. Lights shining brightly. The laptop also sat on a nearby table. It was plugged in. The wires led from the laptop to small stickers. The stickers attached to someone's forehead. A blonde's forehead. I took a deep breath before entering.

It was going to be a while before I came out.
