It's been a few days since you joined the Avengers and moved into the compound. Tony had arranged for some movers to go pack up your apartment and deliver everything to the compound so you could set up your room. Anything that was unneeded was donated. Luckily nothing that could give away your identity was left at the place, having been previously stored in a secure location due to your own paranoia. The apartment was also set up under a fake name so nobody could find you.

You've spent most of your time alone, hiding away in your room where you can relax as yourself and not as Glitch. Your first day in your room you took control over it, making it to where Friday is unable to let anyone in or see into the room at all. Alice has complete control over the room which certainly eases your nerves a bit. It's been a while since you last allowed someone to see you without your alias and the idea of revealing yourself to the others fills you with unwanted anxiety.

The only person you've really spent any time around is Bruce. He was the first person to treat you as something other than a threat and you really appreciated that. You may be a killer, but you only kill those that you truly believe deserve it. You would never hurt an innocent person. The others still treat you as if you'll try to attack them at any moment despite the fact that you never actively tried to cause them any harm. Because of that, you keep your distance from everyone but the kind doctor.

Today is different from the past few days, though. Today is the day that apparently a few of the others are returning from a mission that took them quite some time to complete. You'd be lying if you said you weren't intimidated by the thought of meeting the others. They weren't here when you were brought in so they likely know nothing about you. You're not even sure if they were informed of your presence.

Your original plan was to lock yourself in your room until everything settled down upon their return. You didn't want to get in the way with everyone rushing outside to greet the returning group and you certainly didn't want them questioning who you are as they're trying to settle back in. However, that plan was quickly thwarted when Alice alerted you that you were needed in the medical bay.

You rush through the halls towards the medical bay, concerned about why you would be summoned there of all places. It's more than likely an injured team member but there's not much you can do to help if someone is hurt. It's not like you're trained in medicine or anything like that like Bruce is.

Entering the room, you're met with Bruce standing over the form of Sam Wilson who is laying on one of the beds. He's groaning in pain as Bruce cuts away his pant leg to reveal a bullet wound. You instantly step towards the two, allowing Alice to scan him over for any other injuries as you ask Bruce what he would like for you to do.

"Do you think you can help with his pain? I don't want to have to wait for the medicine to kick in before treating his injury." Bruce questions, his voice sturdy as he speaks. It's obvious the doctor gains confidence whenever he's in the zone with something he knows whether that be science or medicine.

"Of course." Your modified voice filters out of your helmet which pulls Sam's attention towards you. If the man wasn't in so much pain, he'd be questioning why there's a random robot chick at the compound.

Reaching forward, you hover your hand over the wound before blue mist seeps out to cover the injury. Almost instantly Sam seems to relax, the pain fading away quickly. You hold back a wince as your thigh pulses in pain, feeling as if it's burning. One thing you failed to mention to the others was that taking someone else's pain transfers it over to you. The downside of this is that you cannot simply get rid of the pain when it comes from someone else. You're not entirely sure why but it's always been like that.

Once his pain is fully transferred over, you step away and exit the room quickly to avoid Bruce noticing your sudden limp. You're lucky that your helmet hides your pain riddled face as he would more than likely notice it instantly. You're just glad that the injury wasn't anything more serious or that there was more than one.

You make your way slowly but surely down the hallway, hoping to make it back to your room before anyone else spots you. According to Alice, almost everyone is in the lounge likely decompressing after the mission. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to matter much as Friday informs you that Tony would like you to come to where they are.

Entering the lounge, you try your best to appear relaxed and nonchalant to not only hide your nerves but also your pained limp. Tony stands in front of the TV while everyone else sits around and you take a quick second to scan over who all is present as you move to stand next to the billionaire. The usual group is present minus Bruce who is still in the medical bay helping Sam. The new faces consist of Wanda, Pietro, Vision and Peter though you know he wasn't on the mission.

"Everyone, I'd like you to meet our newest Avenger Glitch." Tony claps a hand onto your armored shoulder which makes you roll your eyes.

You hold back the urge to shrug his hand away and instead focus on looking at the others. Wanda seems hesitant as she observes you, likely wondering why she can't read you at all. Pietro looks intrigued, his gaze trailing over your body. Vision seems partially uncaring as he examines you, probably noting that you don't seem to be a threat. Peter shifts nervously in his seat, surprisingly not wearing his suit. He must be here for his 'internship' rather than hero business.

"Glitch, I'm sure you already know who everyone is." Tony's hand slivers across your shoulders as he rests his arm around you, leaning into you a bit. You stiffen slightly, not used to him being this close to you. He hasn't exactly bothered to be around you all that much since you joined except to ask the occasional question about your abilities or to see if you'd be willing to do some testing.

"It's nice to meet all of you." Your modified voice catches them off guard, except for Peter who had heard it when they first encountered you. He seems intrigued and excited almost. You know he's quite the little nerd so he's probably wanting to ask you a million questions about your suit and helmet. Maybe he'll become another friend for you like Bruce. He doesn't seem to be the overly judgmental type either.

"Great. Now that introductions are out of the way, I need to let you all know that there will be a conference tomorrow to introduce Glitch to the world as the newest Avenger." Tony squeezes your shoulders, pulling you more into his side for a second before letting go. You're quick to say your farewells after that, rushing off to your room where you can rest your throbbing leg. Hopefully the pain fades away by tomorrow.
