Third Person POV
"I'll see you tomorrow, sir! Say hello to the misses for me!" A lady waves to the man as he opens the door to the entrance of the building.
"I'll be sure to let her know, you really need to come over soon, I'm sure she'd enjoy your company!" He responds, waving a final goodbye before leaving the building.
The man whistles as he strolls down the sidewalk with his briefcase. The moon seems to be shining brighter than ever tonight, the cool breeze felt fantastic. A few minutes slowly pass before he starts to notice that the breeze suddenly stopped. The sounds that he heard in the city night went dead silent. He looks around to see if anyone else around him noticed the weird feeling, only to find that he was by himself. No cars, or people in his sight.
A small snap behind him causes him to jump in his place and turn around, seeing something small and furry whisk away behind a bench. He smiles and squats down to get closer to it, looking around the corner of the leg.
"Hey little guy, don't be afraid, I have some leftovers from my lunch, won't you like a nibble?" He cooes to the mysterious creature.
Just as he starts to pull out his leftovers, he hears the most horrific sound come from a few inches in front of him. Whatever that small creature was, has grown into a ginormous monster. The man starts to stumble back, dropping his lunch in the process.
"What are you?? How did you??" He was at loss for words. His breath seemed to be stuck in his throat as he started to spin around and dash away.
The race was now set in motion. The man's heart rapidly beats as he turns the corner in a dash. His breathing starts to stagger the faster he runs. Is this it? Is this the way he dies? Where's a hero when you need one?? His feet soon comes to a halt as the end of the alleyway comes to a dead end.
"No, no no no! I CAN'T DIE LIKE THIS-" As soon as the words escape his lips, the large black blur quickly dashes past him.
His body hits the ground with a thud, blood seeping into a pool around the once alive man. The blur seems to leave as fast as it did appear. Without a trace, without a thought. Gone.

First person POV
The clicking of a pen echoes through the dark room as the boss leans back in his chair. I set my gaze to the side of the room. I never liked being here. It always feels so crowded and gloomy.
"So, did the mission go as planned?" he asks while fidgeting with his pen.
"The target has been terminated." I responded.
"Any casualties?"
"No, Sir."
"Good, he's always been a thorn in my side."
Zankuko sits up in his chair and starts sorting through the paperwork that sits on his desk. It seemed to take a minute before he found what he was looking for. He taps the stack of papers on his desk and places it in front of me.
"What's this?" I ask.
"Your next assignment. Apparently this next target is supposed to be meeting someone tonight at the location that is written on that sticky note. We've been targeting this guy for a while, so the fact that we have this much info is astonishing." He chuckles.
"I will warn you that this guy isn't like any of your other targets. If you want any, I can send some guys with you as well to back you up. Don't be afraid to kill the other guy he's with," he snickers, "can I trust you?"
