The Mockingbird and the Hawk (Hawks mha Fanfic)

Chapter 4

I don't know how, but I guess Giran was able to use his quirk on me, because I was now standing in a completely different building.

"What the hell man?" I curse, holding my head.

"Sorry about that, kid, but I needed to use my quirk to make sure you don't know the direction of where we're located."

Giran makes his way to the set of doors that stood at the end of the hall. He knocks on the door with the back of his fist and slowly creaks the door open, leading me inside a room that seemed to look like a break room/ meeting room space.

I walk in and notice the group of people sitting on the couches in the center of the room. The first guy that I seemed to notice instantly had what seemed to be- hands all over his body?

"Everybody, this is Akai Kemono." Giran raises his hands and gestures to me. The feeling of everyone's eyes on me made me shift on my spot. I don't know these guys, but their presence feels as if I was on the verge of a panic attack.

The hand face guy soon breaks the silence as he slouches further into the couch and scratches the side of his neck. "This girl doesn't seem like the person you described. How do I know I can trust her, Giran?"

"You shouldn't judge her based on looks, Shigaraki. Giran has never left us astray." A tall man that stood idly against the wall speaks up. He seemed to stand over 6 feet tall, black smoke replacing where you would see skin, dressed in nice pants with a white button up and vest.

The other person that sat at the couches perks up and clasps his hands together. "I think she'd make a perfect teammate! She looks weak!!! Just look how cute she is! She's hideous!!!"

The man that seems to be in an argument with himself continues to murmur under his breath. I couldn't really read his emotions though, because of the black body suit that covered him from head to toe.

"So, girl. Care to explain your quirk to us and why you're interested in our group? That way we can deem you appropriate to join us." The man named Shigaraki turns his face from Giran to me.

"Umm, hi. My name is not girl, but Akai. Just like what Giran said."

"Listen, I don't want another smart mouth on the team, I already got Twice for that." The man places his head in his hands and groans in irritation.

"HEY!" The childish man pouts.

I looked over at Giran and noticed that he was already half way through a cigarette. I have no idea what's happening. The past week has been a shit show and to be honest, my bed in my apartment is sounding like heaven right about now.

"As much as I would like to introduce myself and what I do. I still was never given an explanation as to who you guys are, and what you do in this so-called 'group'." I mentioned, Shigaraki turning back around to my direction.

"Are you telling me that he dragged you down here, revealing our identities, one of our secret locations, for someone who doesn't even know what are organization is?"

Giran leans against the wall and takes another puff of his cigarette. I watch as the smoke slowly lifts into the air as he exhales. He looks up at Shigaraki and lets out a sigh. He didn't seem like he wanted to be here any longer.

"Our dear Akai is known to work under Zankoku. She's his personal favorite." he explains, "She has a tremendous talent with her quirk. She's known to assassinate people in the blink of an eye, without leaving a trace behind her."

"And to answer your question," Giran looks back in my direction "This is Shigaraki. Him, and many others all share a hatred for Heros. Right now, they are trying to get people together to join their cause, and show the world that Heros only care about themselves and money. The kind of people we are gathering are citizens that have been thrown to the side by society, just because of who they are. The heroes don't care for small, weak people. They just walk past us as if we were invisible. Shigaraki wants to make a change. That's what this group is. They call themselves, The League Of Villains."
