Silence. That was the only thing that surrounded me. I jump around the top of the buildings until I make it to my destination, making my steps quieter the closer I get. I land on the designated building and stop in my tracks. I don't know what this feeling is, but my gut was telling me to run. Whatever power this man had was way more powerful than I was expecting, but I can't back out. I don't want to think about what Zakuko did to me last time I came back from a failed mission.

I swallow the lump in my throat and make my way over to the end of the building and peer down, seeing two men talking in the back of the alleyway. I carefully set up my plan B on both sides of the building's roof tops before finally standing on the edge, preparing myself to dive.

As soon as I jump I activate my quirk, feeling my body form and twist. My skin quickly covers itself with red ash fur. My teeth grow to large scary fangs. I never feel more alive when I use my quirk, I feel invincible.

As I fell, I looked directly at the top of Dabi's head, and prepared to pounce. Go for the neck. I open my maw and hold my paws out, ready to take a chunk out of the man's neck. Before I was able to reach his neck, he looked up in shock and dashed to the side.

"WHAT THE HELL??" He shouts as I grab his arm with my maw.

I growl and pin him to the ground, growling as I pull his hand far behind him. He was able to move enough to where I couldn't get his neck, but it still wasn't fast enough. Now all I gotta do is pull his arms off before he can do anything-

As soon as I start to pull on his arm, I hear a click of a gun beside me and I freeze in place. My eyes led to the man that stood beside me. He had no fear in his eyes. No anger either, just- neutral. Before I can think of anything else, I feel my body begin to heat up instantly. Fire begins to spread and I wince in pain and jump away. Shit shit shit!

"Just who in the hell do you think you are?" Dabi speaks up, slowly getting off of the floor and examining the new bite marks on his forearm.

"How'd a wolf get this far into town?!" The strange guy spoke up, keeping his gun aimed at me as I took my stance before the two men.

"Are you really that dumb to believe that's a real wolf?" Dabi asks the man, moving his gaze from his arm up to me.

"Whatever you are, reveal yourself, hero." The man starts to fiddle with the trigger of the gun.

"I am not a hero!" I growled.

"You're right. No so-called 'hero' would go for the kill like that, you were aiming for my throat, were you?" Dabi asks.

All I do is growl in response. That's the only signal he needed to start dashing my way. I begin to pace forward as well, feeling a bullet scratch against my cheek. I continue to sprint forwards, trying to pounce on Dabi once again.

The next few seconds seem to go by like a blur, but I soon begin to slow down more and more, burn marks appearing on my body. I ignored the searing pain I felt. I could smell my burning fur and flesh in the air. I was running out of stamina, I was about to transform back any second now.

"You seem to be getting weaker, don't tell me you're done yet."

"Not even close." I pant. I'll admit, he has been the strongest person I'd ever fought. I could feel my quirk slowly getting weaker. I knew I only had around 1 minute before I transformed back.

"I never even got your name, oh well." Dabi starts to step closer, casting his hand in glorious flames.

Yes, just a few steps closer, that's all I need.

"I hope this teaches you a lesson to not interrupt others when they are having a serious conversation." He only was 10 feet away from me at this point, but the heat coming from his flames seemed to seer the already burnt skin of mine like hell.
