BYYYEEEE

~~~
I stare at his open hand and back up at him in shock. No way in hell there was a Hero standing in front of me right now. A rush of panic courses through me like a speeding train. The urge to vomit burns my throat as I slowly move my hand into his and shake it tensley.
His hand grip seems strong yet gentle, The power radiating off of this man sends a chill down my spine. I didn’t know how theatinging it was to stand next to such a Hero, it kinda took me by surprise.
“You don’t seem like the talker, eh?” He chuckles.
“I-” I stutter a bit while looking down, “you could say that, I guess.”
“So, what’s your name?” Hawks asks. My mind goes blank as I think of the first name that comes to mind.
“N-Natsumi.” I stutter.
“Care if I join you, Natsumi?” He asks.
I stare blankly and shake my head. I can't help but just stand there, mind going blank. He takes his hand back to his side and places them in his pockets. I watch while he walks to the edge and plops down, not a care in the world.
I could jump over to the other side of the building right now and polymorph without him noticing, he didn’t seem to be on edge so he wouldn’t notice as fast. But he's known to be one of the fastest Heroes around, so running isn’t an option. I can’t have him figure out anything about me, it could land me into prison for life. It’s okay, Akai, just don’t let him know anything about you. Don’t tell him your name, your quirk, or anything that could be used against you.
I look back and notice that his eyes were on me, his head turning to look behind him. I don’t know what this feeling is, but I decide to swallow it down and sit next to him on the edge.
I begin to fidget with the hem of my sleeve while looking everywhere else besides him. I felt awkward as hell right now, I don’t understand how he can just go up to somebody and chat with them like you’ve known them all your life.
The moon glows brightly above us, it's a little past midnight, so I should really find a place to stay for the time being. To be honest I was thinking about staying up here tonight and figuring out the rest from there, but it seems that Hawks is now aware of me and this location. Gotta find a different one to hide secret getaway bags.
I look around to the other buildings and see what one I could take up next. Zankuko would suspect me staying somewhere up high, anyways, so maybe sleeping on a roof should not me my first choice, so my other option could be-
“So, what is a quiet girl like yourself doing on top of one of the tallest buildings in Shinjuku?” Hawks asks, interrupting my train of thoughts.
“I guess I like to get away from the world, it sucks ass.” I shake my head and look the other direction.
I hear him chuckle and sigh, “I can appreciate honesty. It can from time to time.”
