"Are you the one behind everyone falling into sudden comas?" Germany questioned.
"What? No!" Britain answered.
"Father would never do something like that!" Amelia stated from her Father's side.
"Wait- you know of the comas?"
"Mr. Austria, Papa, and Katrina all fell asleep and won't wake-up," Rose answered before Germany could do so.
Britain looked shocked, as if he realized the situation had gotten worse than it already was. ".....This is bad.....It doesn't make sense; none of the people have anything in common so why would this happen?"
"Vho else is like this?" Germany asked.
"Well there is Ca-" Amelia was cut off by Britain.
"Why should we be telling you two all of this?!" Britain yelled. "I should be putting you back in your cell!"
Rose became frightened by the sudden outburst from Britain and went to hide behind Germany. Germany didn't back down though. He wasn't scared of the British man with large eyebrows.
"Just tell me more!" Germany shouted. "If my allies, and my kind, are in danger I have to find out vhat's vrong!"
"Like I'd tell you anything else!"
Britain and Germany began to glare at each other, waiting to see who would make the next move. Amelia and Rose waited in anticipation to see whether or not they were going to have to keep the two men from killing each other. I don't understand why we need to fight right now, Amelia thought. Something is happening to everyone else and they're fighting like dogs.
Right before it looked like a fight was about to break out, a voice from the other side of the room spoke; "England, just tell him."
Everyone turned to see America at the other side of the room. He looked like he had been worrying over something for hours on end. Amanda was by his side, as if she needed to stand next to him in case the worrying would cause him to collapse.
"Something is definitely wrong with everyone," America continued in a serious voice that was rarely ever used by the nation. "Now is not the time to keep sides."
"America..." Britain muttered, surprised to find America being so serious and mature.
"Danke," Germany thanked.
"Germany, you said that Austria, Italy and Katrina fell asleep right? What happened?"
Germany sighed before he began to explain what happened; "Austria vas scolding me and then he just nodded off and fell asleep. Italy was the first I discovered in a coma-like state but I assumed it was just because of the blow he had taken to the head."
"I went to Katrina's room and tried to wake her up," Rose added. "I tried everything but she wouldn't wake-up."
"Uncle Canada was talking to Dad when he fell asleep right in front of him," Amanda said. "He's never done that before."
"How many others do you think are affected?" Germany asked Britain.
"Who knows? It's possible we could be next." Britain stated.
The room fell into silence. If what Britain had said was true, who would be next?...Suddenly, the phone rang causing everyone to jump up in shock.
"Calm down; it's just the phone."
While Britain went to answer the phone, Rose's stomach began to growl. Rose blushed with embarrassment as Germany glanced down at her. "I guess I forgot to eat," Rose admitted as she twirled a piece of her hair.
Amelia sighed as she walked over to Rose with Amanda following behind. Amelia was a bit intimidated by Germany but tried to focus on Rose and not the intimidating German. She smiled at the nervous Italian as she held out her hand to her. "Come on," she spoke in a soft voice. "We can get you something to eat in the kitchen if you'd like."
Rose glanced from Amelia to Germany, waiting to see what he had to say about the matter. Germany gave a simple nod that could have been missed if you had blinked, but Rose saw it and smiled up at the German before walking out behind his leg. She took Amelia's hand and walked with her and Amanda to the kitchen but glanced back at Germany as if she were expecting him to change his mind.
As Rose walked down the hall, Amanda began to talk; "So what do you want to eat? We've got a lot of things."
"Um, I'd just like some pasta if that's okay," Rose squeaked out.
"All right. I don't know if we have any of that, but we can check."
**********
After eating some pasta that was found, Rose felt a little more energetic. Still, she was a bit weary around Amanda and Amelia. She knew who they were and stuff but she was still nervous considering that Germany had labeled them as the enemy and tried to hammer that into her head along with her Father's head.
"Gracie for the meal," Rose thanked.
"You're very welcome," Amelia replied. "Do you need anything else?"
Rose shook her head.
That's when Emma walked into the kitchen, with Kumajiro trudging behind her. Emma looked like she hadn't slept for a while, and she also looked very worried. "Are you okay Emma?" Amanda asked her cousin as she sat down at the table the other three girls were sitting at.
Emma shook her head. "I'm really worried about Pa," she whisper-spoke. "He hasn't woken up yet and I'm really worried about him." The little Canadian laid her head down in her arms and tried to hold back the tears.
Rose saw this and went over to Emma. She sat right next to her, surprising Amanda and Amelia, and spoke to her; "It'll be okay Emma, don't worry."
The blonde looked up at Rose and wiped away the few tears that were in her eyes. "How do you know?" Emma asked.
"Because Mr. Germany promised me everything was going to be okay. And a promise is a promise~."
Just then, Britain came running into the room. He looked like he had seen a ghost. "Father, what's wrong?" Amelia asked.
"There's no time to explain; I need your help with something Amelia."
"Yes Father." Amelia got up from her seat and followed Britain down to the basement to retrieve who-knows-what.
