The group of five that had separated from the original group had found their way out of the cave system and were making their way up the mountain trail they had found. It seemed safe enough. "Okay guys, let's go," Amanda said as she helped everyone make their way out of the cave. She was in the back while Chen, Naomi, Allison, and Noa went ahead of her.

"We shourd be very carefur," Naomi suggested as they went along the trail. "One farse move and we courd have troubre."

"Got it," Allison agreed, taking a hold of Noa's hand. She knew that Noa was smaller than her so if anything happened she could grab her and get her out of the way. However, she was the one who needed more help, considering her ankle was still messed up a bit.

Then there was a noise from above. "What was that?" Chen squeaked out.

It sounded like rocks from above were moving. "Uh guys," Noa said, looking up.

The group looked up to see rocks coming down towards them at top-notch speed. They were all huge and had the capability of crushing them. The girls quickly moved out of the way with Allison, Chen, Naomi, and Noa moving up the trail and Amanda going down the trail. No one got crushed but Amanda was separated from the rest of the group. When the dust settled, everyone checked themselves. "Everyone okay?" Amanda shouted over the pile of rubble.

"We're good Amanda-chan," Naomi replied. "What about you?"

"I'm fine."

"So 'ow are we going to get you over?" Allison questioned.

"Not sure," Amanda said as she looked around. "Looks like I'm stuck guys. You should go ahead without me."

"Are you sure aru?" Chen asked.

"Yeah. Look, if someone's up there, they need our help. You have to go guys. I'll just wait here for ya." There goes Amanda acting so selfless. She knew it might be a while before the others came to rescue her, but someone else was in bigger trouble if they didn't hurry. "I'll keep myself busy. Just get going. Katrina might be up there."

"Understood." Naomi replied. Amanda was right. Katrina could be up on top of the mountain, or Italy even. If there was a chance, then they had to act fast. "Come on. We must hurry."

The three remaining girls nodded and followed Naomi up the mountain path. As they climbed higher and higher, the girls noticed something was a bit off. The first sign was that at one moment it was day and another it was night. Allison noticed and kept stepping back and forth in between places and saw at one point it was day and another point it was night. "'ow is this possible?" she wondered.

"Well this is a dream world," Noa pointed out. "Anything can happen."

"You do 'ave a point," Allison agreed.

The group of four continued their way up the mountain and found a Chinese lantern that lit the way. "Ai-yah, this lantern seems...familiar," Chen pointed out.

"It does seem famiriar," Naomi agreed.

"Guys! Over here!" Noa shouted.

The girls looked to see Noa near a spring. They walked over and each took a sip of it. It was the best water they ever tasted. "Mmmmmm~! Zhis is so refreshing!" Allison gasped after she took a gulp of it.

"We shourd take some with us," Naomi suggested. She dipped her canteen that she carried with her into the spring and got plenty of water for later. Then the girls continued on their way, heading towards a flight of stairs before finally reaching a town.

"Wow," they all gasped as they took in the scenery.

"What a gorgeous place," Allison commented.

"It is rather pretty," Noa agreed.

"...Something about this place is so familiar," Chen said after looking around.

"What do you mean Chen?" Naomi questioned.

"It's just, a nostalgic feeling of sorts, I guess. I cannot explain it aru."

As they looked around more, the girls saw stands that sold candy, scrolls, and other goods that were very familiar looking to Chen and Naomi. It reminded them of festivals they would go to when they were younger. Chen could remember getting dressed up for one that her Dad took her to and seeing fireworks at the end of the night.

"I wonder if anyone is 'ere."

"Werr we haven't seen anyone so far. That doesn't mean that no one is here though. "

Meanwhile, back down the mountain, Amanda was bored out of her mind. She had drawn in the dirt, thrown little pebbles over the edge, and even tried to take a nap. Nothing could alleviate her boredom. "Why didn't I bring my DS or something?" she wondered as she looked up at the sky. "Ugh, I feel like, like-"

"You're going stir crazy?" a voice finished.

"Exactly!" Amanda blinked in confusion and then looked to her side to see Amelia right there. She jumped back in shock and then blinked as she looked at Amelia. "Amelia?! How did you- where did you come from?!"

"Calm down you git," Amelia said, placing her hands on her hips. "I wasn't trying to scare you. You're just easily frightened is all."

As Amanda was processing all of this, she noticed that no one else was with Amelia. Where was Emma, Natie, and Rose?

"Now are you coming or what?" Amelia asked as she got up.

"Coming for what?" Amanda questioned.

"Down the mountain. There's no other way up you know."

"Uh, Amelia, where's everyone else at? You're all by yourself. Are they waiting down the mountain or something?" Amanda pointed out.

Amelia just smiled at Amanda and then revealed her eyes were glowing an eerie blue. Then her mouth opened to reveal her sharp teeth. "You ask too many questions Amanda~," Reve chuckled.

Amanda backed away as best as she could. However, she was stuck between a rock and a dream reaper so there wasn't really any place she could go. "W-What are you gonna do with me?" Amanda stuttered.

Moving at a speed that was too quick to track with the human eye, Reve ran over to Amanda and punched her in the stomach, causing Amanda to collapse to the ground in agony. Reve laughed as Amanda held her stomach. "It's nothing personal my dear," Reve assured Amanda as she lost consciousness. "I just need you out of commission for a while is all."

What does Reve have planned for Amanda? Will the others be able to help her?
