"Oliver!" Amelia shouted when she realized that Oliver had jumped in the way of Alex's attack.

Alex just glared at Oliver, who glared back at him. "I would never let you hurt my friends," Oliver simply stated.

Alex pulled the knife out of Oliver and then backed away. "You idiot," he lowly spoke before retreating.

America, England, Amanda, and Amelia all ran over to Oliver, who was left lying on the floor. England picked Oliver up and shook him a bit. "Oliver! Wake-up!" he yelled at his copy.

Oliver groaned in pain.

"Oliver?...Don't talk. It's going to be okay."

"N-No...don't." Oliver stuttered. "It's...too late."

"It's never too late!" Amanda shouted.

"Please Oliver, we can help you," Amelia insisted as she sat down next to him.

Oliver looked at Amelia and then at England before smiling at his counter part. "What's wrong?" England asked.

"...Your eyes..." Oliver said.

"What about them?"

"...They are like a pair of emeralds..You are really lucky...To have such, a sweet daughter...that has such beautiful eyes...Makes me...kinda jealous..."

England wasn't sure how to respond. He had always known he had interesting eyes, but no one ever really called them beautiful, except for his Mother. He looked over at Amelia and noticed what Oliver was talking about; her eyes shined like green emeralds. He recalled adopting her from that orphanage and the first thing he noticed were those green eyes hidden behind her glasses. Then he focused his attention back on to Oliver; "Why did you do that? Why did you interfere with Alex's attack?"

"...I didn't want Alex...To hurt you...I'm not like those copies...I was...more like you Arthur.."

"What are you saying?" Amelia asked, trying to hold back her tears.

Oliver went on to explain; "All of the copies...were created from pieces...of your world...But still..they were not perfect copies...They became evil and corrupt...Especially Alex..."

"Are you saying you're not like them? Despite the fact that you were copied from me?"

Oliver explained more and began to cough up blood. Amelia froze and Amanda buried her face in her Dad's jacket. "Please Oliver, hang on," Amelia begged. "You'll make it."

The dying man looked over at Amelia and smiled at her weakly. He placed a hand to her cheek and caressed it. "You're such a sweet girl...That's why...I helped you escape...I couldn't bare, the thought...of Alex changing you...You are perfect....just the way you are, Amelia."

Tears cascaded down Amelia's cheek. This couldn't be happening.

"Be strong, love..." Oliver then turned his attention to England. "Promise me, Arthur...That you and Alfred, will stop Alex...And end this...Once and for all..."

"We promise," England promised. "We'll stop Alex."

A weak smile came to Oliver's face. "Thank you...Arthur...You are, my best friend..." He took his last breath before he stopped breathing.

"Oliver!" England shouted, trying to wake him up but with no success.

Amelia went into full-blown sobs as she looked at Oliver's lifeless body. She then hugged her Dad and sobbed into his jacket. England held his daughter as she cried. "Why did he have to die?" Amelia hiccuped. "He was, a good person, Father."
