Noa giggled as she petted the large mammal that sat next to her. Normally, if people saw it, they would be frightened by it. However, Noa was not afraid of it all. She loved bulls and Rose knew that very well. Noa always talked about bulls and even had a pet bull of her own, despite Spain constantly insisting that that bull was out to get him.
I can't believe it's Noa! Rose thought with a smile. "Noa!"
The little girl on the porch looked over at Rose, who was waving and smiling. Noa became a bit nervous and hid behind her big pet, confusing Rose.
"Noa?"
"W-Who are you?" Noa stuttered, peaking her head out to the side to look at Rose.
"Noa, it's me, Rose."
Noa turned her head to the side. "Why do you keep calling me that? My name's Door, not Noa."
"Door? But that can't be right." This didn't make sense. Rose knew her cousin and this was definitely her cousin, Noa. She might've been wrong about World but she knew she was right about this. What's going on here? She thought. Wait, Key kept talking about Door. Did he mean Noa? But why is she called that and not Noa?
That's when the other capitals arrived. Allison gasped when she saw her friend near the bull. "Sacre blu!" She cried. "Noa, be careful! You could get 'urt!"
"My name is not Noa! It's Door!" The small Spainard shouted, surprising everyone. "Go away."
"And if we refuse?" Natie asked.
The little girl began to whimper a bit and in an instant, animals surrounded the group. There were lions, tigers, bears (Oh my!) and many other creatures. "Go away," Door spoke, burying her face into the bull's fur.
"We trying to help you Noa," Amelia said in a calm voice.
"I said GO AWAY!" Then, the capitals were each picked up by an animal- either by hand, paw or by mouth- and thrown into a pond not too far away. That left Door surrounded by the animals and the capitals soaking wet.
"What's her problem?" Amanda questioned as she rung-out her wet mop-head of hair.
"She's under the spell of the creature," Amelia explained as she cleaned off her glasses. "It doesn't want her to remember a lot from her old life so it changed her name to Door and made her forget us. Door is also an arcana name by the way."
"You never really explained much about the arcana," Emma pointed out as she took off her shoe filled with water. "You said they were servants of the creature, so what does that make Noa?"
"With each victim it gets, the creature has the person embody an arcana based on their personality, which is based on Tarot cards. At least, most of the time. Plus, we are in Italy's mind. It's how he interprets the arcana and who he believes would be who."
"So she's Door because Itary-san berieves Noa-chan embodies that arcana?" Naomi questioned.
"That's correct Naomi."
"But 'ow do we snap 'er out of it?" Allison asked.
"Someone needs to remind her of her old life. She needs someone who's close to her."
Everyone looked at Rose. "Me?" She asked.
"Oui, you should do it Rose."
"But she didn't listen to me before. How will I get her to listen to me now? She's too scared."
Amelia sighed. "Do you have any pictures or items that reminds her anything from her life?"
"Uh, I think so." Rose rummaged through her pocket until she found her little wallet that had a few pictures in it. She pulled an image out that was of Tye, Noa, and herself at what looked like a sleepover. Tye wasn't very happy in the picture because he had like girlly hairclips in his hair while Rose and Noa were smiling in the picture. "Will this work?"
"That should do. Now get back in there."
Rose nodded as she got on her hands and knees and crawled underneathe all the animals. She got stuck a few times but was soon out and found Noa petting her pet bull once again. Rose stood up and cautiosly approached her cousin. Noa soon noticed Rose and quickly got closer to the bull. "W-What do you want?" She stuttered.
"I just want to talk," Rose answered. "Please?"
Noa was hesitant about all of this but nodded. "I'll give you one minute."
Rose smiled as she showed the picture to Noa. Being curious, Noa walked over to get a better look at the image. She looked at it and was shocked at the fact that she was in the picture. "I-Is that, me?"
"Sí. It was taken at a sleepover we had. Tye wasn't very happy about getting hairclips put into his hair, but he still had fun."
Noa giggled. "Yeah I....." She stopped speaking for a moment. "I remember that. It was at Tío Italy's house."
Rose's eyes grew big with hope. "So, you remember?"
Noa nodded. "My name isn't Door, is it?"
Rose shook her head. "No. Your name is Noa."
"Noa....I....I am Noa." Then a light engulfed her. It quickly died down though and Noa then quickly ran to hug her older cousin. "Gracias! Gracias! I'm so sorry for forgetting you, and throwing you and everyone else into a pond."
"It's okay," Rose took Noa's hands. "I'm just glad your back."
"Me too."
"Let's go home now. Zío Spain is probably worried sick about you."
Noa stopped and stared at Rose in confusion. "What are you talking about? Papí is here."
"Huh?"
"Sí. He was here a little while ago. But he had to leave for some reason."
Rose looked at her cousin in confusion. She was sure that Spain wasn't with the nations when they went into the dream world. Yet Noa was saying that he had been with her a little bit before she and the other capitals showed up. What is going on here? Rose thought.
Just then, a voice spoke, saying, "Noa, wait!" Rose and Noa turned around to find Spain standing on the porch of the house. He looked so distraught. Rose also noticed something quite off about her uncle; his eyes were not green, but a light blue. "Noa, where are you going chica?" he asked as he made his way off of the porch. "You're really going to leave me?"
"Papí, I wasn't trying to leave you," Noa insisted, letting go of Rose's hand and going over to Spain, wrapping her arms around his waist. "I didn't know you were still here. Lo siento."
"It's okay chica," Spain said, pulling Noa into a hug. "But I'm here now, and that means you won't have to leave."
"But you both can't stay here!" Rose yelled, making Spain look up at her. "Zío Spain, I don't know how you got here, but you and Noa have to leave or you'll be trapped here forever!"
That's when Spain looked at Rose with a bit of a smirk, and not the playful one he would sometimes give her. No, this one was full of something that Rose had never really experienced before; evil. "I think that it's best that you leave, friend~."
Oh no, Rose has finally come face-to-face with the Fauchereve! Will she be able to get Noa free from his grasp? Or will Reve keep Noa trapped forever?
