Amelia felt herself waking up. She slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was laying down in a bed. However, it wasn't her bed. She slowly sat up and looked around to see she was in a room she had never been in before.
"Where am I?" She asked as she stood to her feet, finding that her legs were like jelly. "How did I get here? Where is everyone else?"
As she got feeling back in her legs, she walked around the room to see what there was to be seen. She went to the door but found it locked. "Why won't it open?" She struggled to open it but found it impossible to open. "Great, I'm locked in."
Amelia walked around until she found a bookshelf. "Maybe some books will help me get my mind off things." She pulled out a book and flipped through the pages, only to find them all blank. "Well this is just a waste of time."
Suddenly, Amelia heard a scream come from the other side of the door. "That sounds like Rose," Amelia ran to the door and began to bang on it. "Let me out of here!" She tried everything; kicking it, punching it, and throwing furniture at it. Nothing worked.
She stormed back over to the bookshelf and banged her fist against the bookshelf. This caused a book to fall into her lap. It opened to a random page to reveal a key inside one of the pages. Amelia took the key out of the book and over to the lock. She turned the key and then heard a clicking noise that allowed the door to finally open.
Amelia opened the door to find that a hallway was waiting for her. It looked like it was an old fashioned hall that belonged in a castle. "What is this place?" She looked outside the door and found that it had her Father's name on the outside. "What the-?"
Meanwhile, Amanda woke-up to find that she was in darkness. She tried moving but found herself unable to. "Hey, where am I?" She asked as she tried to move. "Hello? Guys? This isn't funny you know."
That's when Amanda heard a deep laugh that could only belong to a man. It sent shivers down her spine as the person's footsteps came closer to her. Then she felt the person put a hand to her face. They removed the blindfold that was covering her eyes so she could see. She had to squint though because it was dark in the room. "Glad to see you awake doll face," the person spoke.
Amanda recognized the voice. "Dad? Is that you?" She asked.
The person laughed as a light suddenly entered the room. Amanda squeezed her eyes shut at the sudden light. She slowly opened her eyes to find the person standing in front of her wasn't her Dad; he looked similar, but it wasn't him. This man had red hair, red eyes, and tan skin. He also had a wicked smirk on his face as he looked at the young girl.
"Y-You're not my Dad," Amanda stuttered. "W-Who are you?"
The man laughed a sinister laugh that would make the Joker shudder. "The name's Alex, sweet cheeks."
"Where am I?" Amanda struggled when she saw that she was tied to a chair. "Why am I tied up? Where are my friends?"
Alex laughed again. "Listen kid, I'd be more concerned about yourself before asking questions."
"What are you going to do to me?"
Alex smirked. "You'll see."
He went over to a table and took a glass of water off the table. He walked back over to Amanda and waved the drink in her face. "You thirsty?"
Amanda stayed completely still. She knew something was wrong with the drink and knew it would be bad to consume it.
"Come on, drink up kiddo. It's not that bad."
Amanda just kept her mouth closed as Alex tried to force the drink into her mouth. This went on for a few more moments until Alex grabbed her by the chin, causing Amanda to open her mouth and allowing Alex to pour the liquid into her mouth. Amanda had no choice but swallow and it tasted terrible. "Aww gross!" Amanda spat. "That tasted like raw fish!"
That's when Amanda's head began to hurt. Then her body felt like it was on fire. "You're probably feeling the effects of the drink now."
"It hurts!" Tears were coming to Amanda's eyes. That's how badly it hurt. It felt like her body was being torn from the inside out. "Make it stop!"
Alex laughed. "Don't worry, it'll be over soon. Then you'll be a whole new you."
"....Wha...What did...you give me?" Amanda panted in between sobs and gasps for air.
"It's an alchemic drink of my own design. Instead of using a circle to transmutate you, that little liquid will do the process from the inside out. Hopefully, it's perfected enough that you'll survive."
Amanda suddenly opened her eyes as they changed from sky blue to deep red. Her hair also began to change from blonde to red and her skin started going tan. Through the entire transformation, Amanda was screaming in pain. After her appearance was altered, Amanda looked down at the ground and was breathing heavily. She caught her breath for a few seconds before she lifted her head up to look at Alex. When she did, she smirked at him.
***********
Amelia walked through the many different halls but still couldn't find a person. "Where is everyone?" She wondered as she walked around.
That's when she heard the sound of someone knocking, or more like banging, on a door. Amelia followed the noise until she came to another door. This one had Japan's name on it. "Herro? Is anyone there?" a voice said from behind the door.
"Naomi?" Amelia questioned. "Is that you?"
"Ameria! I'm in here!" Naomi replied, hitting the door a little harder. "Can you get me out of here?"
"Hold on." Amelia looked for the key in her pocket until she found the key from before. She hoped it was a skeleton key and placed it in the lock. It fit perfectly. She quickly turned the key to the right and opened the door and sure enough there was Naomi.
"Naomi!" Amelia quickly embraced Naomi in a hug, forgetting about her "personal space". When she did realize this, Amelia quickly released the Japanese girl. "Sorry Naomi."
"It is fine Ameria-chan. I'm just grad to be out of there. But where are we? What happened? Where are the others?"
Suddenly, there was a strange creature-like noise heard that sent shivers down Amelia's spine. Both girls slowly turned to see that a creature that Amelia deeply feared was right behind her; a spider. Amelia shook as she backed away from it. It crawled closer to her before she screamed her head off; "AHHHHHHHHHH!" She screamed as she ran off with Naomi following after her.
As they ran, Naomi noticed an unlocked door and opened it. "Ameri, in here!" Naomi instructed.
Amelia quickly skidded to a halt and then ran in with Naomi following behind.
They listened as they heard the spider run by. That was close, Amelia thought. The two then looked to see that they were in a study of some sorts. It was rather creepy because there were spatters of blood in some parts of the room, but the two tried to ignore it as they walked over to a bookshelf. Naomi took out a book and saw it was on Alchemy, catching Amelia's attention.
"Alchemy? Father talked about it once. I don't know that much about it. Do you think it have something to do with all this?"
"Maybe." Naomi shrugged. "From researching things for FMA, I know a bit about Archemy."
"Hopefully that can help us." Amelia then walked over to the table and saw a book opened. She looked at the pages and realized it was a diary of some sorts. She read the date, which was March 25th, before starting; the person wrote how they made an exact copy of earth. He did state that it was different and that he had copies who could carry on the work. "Naomi, come here. I think I found something."
Naomi put the Alchemy book back on the shelf and went over to Amelia she read the entry as well. "Hmmm."
"Naomi, you realize what this means, right?"
"Hai; it means America-san and Russia-san were right; there rearry is another worrd and I berieve we are in it right now."
