Amelia followed England down the staircase to the basement. The girl was trying to figure out what was going on. "Father, what are we looking for?" Amelia asked as they entered the dark room that was only lit by candle light and a glowing crystal.

"We're looking for a book," England answered.

"What does it look like?" Amelia questioned. "I mean, there are so many books down here."

"You'll know what it is when you see it love."

With that being said, Amelia searched one of the bookshelves. England did the same just as they were trying to find the book. She found one entitled "Arcana Magica" and decided to take it with her, even though England told her it wasn't the one they were looking for. Soon, Amelia saw her Father looking into a mirror. "Father, why are you looking at yourself in the mirror? Aren't we in a hurry?"

Britain glanced back at his child and saw the annoyance on her face. "Sorry love," he apologized. "It's just, I look tired too, don't I?"

"Well you have been trying to find out what's wrong with Canada."

The search continued and the two went back to work, unaware the Fauchevere was lurking right by them. He noticed the book England was looking at and crept his way over to him.

"There it is!" England stated as he looked at the book on the table. "I found just what I need."

"You did?" Amelia stopped her searching for a moment and was getting ready to make her way over to England. Fauchevere smirked, glad that neither of the Brits had noticed his presence.

"I know you're there," Britain suddenly stated, making Reve gasp. He quickly vanished just as Amelia approached her Father.

"Why did you say that Father?"

"Well, I figure that one of these days I'm going to say that and there's actually going to be something there."

Amelia looked at her Father in confusion. He sure is strange, She thought. But I wouldn't have him any other way.

"Now let's go. We are going to be having a meeting."

**********

The remaining Allies and Axis Powers arrived for the meeting with their capitals. Some of the children were still in their pajamas since they were told to hurry and didn't have time to change.

Germany and Rose walked into the room quietly. Rose held onto Germany's hand as they walked to their seats.

"There had better be a good reason Chen and I were woken-up," China complained. In the seat next to him, Chen yawned as she tried to stay awake.

"Can I go back to sleep Baba?" Chen yawned as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes with a panda toy in her lap.

"We haven't had one of these meetings in a while~," Russia spoke to Natie, who was sitting in his lap. She just smiled up at Russia as she tried to stay awake.

Next to them, America, Amanda, and Emma were clustered at the head of the table. Worry was on America's face and he wasn't saying a word to anyone. Amanda, however, was chatting with Emma; "Do you think that Britain will know how to help Pa?" Emma asked her cousin.

"Don't worry Em, everything will be okay. I promise," Amanda told Emma.

As they continued to make their way to their seats, Rose hid behind Germany as they walked by France and Allison. She didn't tell anyone, but she was somewhat intimidated by France. She hoped to not be spotted by her Uncle, but no such luck; "Bonjour my little rose~!" France greeted when he saw the little girl.

Allison, who was in France's lap, greeted Rose as well; "Bonjour Rose."

Rose looked out from behind Germany and just gave the two a simple hello before continuing to walk with Germany. Germany could hear France make some snide remark to him about how he had not expected to see Germany, let alone not from behind bars, but ignored him for Rose's sake. Starting a fight with France wasn't going to help the situation.

The two soon made it to their seats next to Japan and Naomi. "Germany-san?" Japan asked as Germany sat down. "Why are we here?"

"...Something bad is happening," Germany answered. He then leaned closer to Japan to whisper the next part; "I just hope England has the answers by now."

Japan nodded as Naomi went to sit next to Rose. "Rose-chan, where are Itary-san and Katrina-chan?"

Rose didn't answer. She just looked at her shoes.

"My aporogies," Naomi apologized. "I did not mean any harm."

"It's fine Naomi, really," Rose insisted. Just then, Britain and Amelia walked into the room.

"I'm sure you're all wondering why you're here today," Britain spoke.

"This better be important," China huffed.

"Yes, it's very important. We are under attack by a creature from another world...One I thought to have been extinct at this point," England then gave a piece of chalk to Amelia, who went up to the chalkboard and started drawing something. After she was done, Amelia moved and then showed a picture of what looked to be a creature with claws and sharp teeth. "This is the beast, also known as, the Fauchevere."

"A...Dream Reaper?" France gasped.

This made Allison burst out laughing. "A Dream Reaper? Zhat's just an old story to tell children to get zhem to behave."

"England! This is serious! We can't blame this on fairies or whatever!" America shouted.

"I'm not crazy! This is true!" Britain shouted.

"Looks like zhis meeting was pointless Angleterre," France said.

"I agree aru," China agreed.

Rose looked back and forth between the grownups as they argued. None of this was helping her Papa or Katrina. It was making her really upset. Then she did something that surprised everyone; she stood up in her seat and shouted, "STOP!"

Everyone looked at the little Italian as she huffed.

"Arguing isn't going to help anyone," she spoke normally. "It sounds crazy, but don't we have to explore all options here?"

To say everyone was shocked would be the understatement of the year. They were all flabbergasted that Rose had spoken like that.

She then looked at Germany. "You agree with me, right Mr. Germany?"
Germany wasn't sure what to think. Sure this sounded crazy, but the life of his friend and his child were in jeopardy. Vhat should I do? He thought.

What will Germany do? Find out next time.
