As Rose wiped her eyes she suddenly began to feel tired. She yawned as her eyelids began to droop. Why am I tired all of a sudden? Rose wondered as she began to drift to sleep. "M-Mr. G-G-Germany? I feel...sleepy."

Germany looked at Rose with confusion. "You're tired?"

Rose groggily nodded. "I...don't know why though....I just...feel really...s...sleepy...." After that she was out like a lightbulb.

"Rose?"

Germany tried shaking her but Rose wouldn't wake-up.

"Rose, vake-up."

Again, nothing. Panic began to sank in and Germany quickly took Rose to a room and laid her down on a bed. "Come on Rose, vake-up!" He tried shaking her awake but nothing worked.

**********

Rose opened her eyes to find herself floating in what looked like a dark void. She didn't see anyone or anything. All she saw was darkness. Where am I? She tried to find someone, anyone, but all there was was the dark. Tears gathered in her eyes as one lonethought crossed her mind; I'm all alone.

"Hehehehehe~." a familiar voice giggled.

Rose knew that laugh all too well; it belonged to her Papa. "Papa?" Rose called out, trying to figure out where her Father was at. "Papa? Where are you?"

"I also brought a gift vith me too." a new voice said. Rose recognized it as Germany's voice, except it sounded happier.

"Mr. Germany?"

"Ve? What is it?" Italy asked.

"First, close your eyes!" Germany requested.

"Eheheh~. Okay~."

Rose wondered what was going on because she could hear everything that was going on but couldn't see anything or feel anything. She tried to get her feet onto the ground but couldn't. What really mattered to her though was being able to see. "I just wanna see!" she shouted.

She squeezed her eyes and opened them again to see she was in a beautiful field that was eerily familiar to that of her dream. When she tried to speak, Rose found that her throat was tightened. Why can't I say anything? She thought as she placed a hand to her throat. She tried to yell but couldn't say anything. Help!

That's when she saw two people in the distance. Maybe they can help me!

Rose ran as fast as she could to the people but stopped when she saw that the people were Italy and Germany. A smile came to Rose's face when she saw her Dad and she ran up and hugged him tightly around the waist. She expected some kind of reaction from him but Italy didn't even look down at her. He just continued to talk to Germany...except Rose couldn't hear what he was saying. All she heard was silence.

Why can't I hear anything either? She wondered. And why hasn't Papa noticed me yet?

Rose tried grabbing his hand to get his attention but even when she was squeezing it with all her might she found that he didn't even bat an eye at her attempts.

She then looked up at Germany and silently gasped when she saw that Germany's eyes were glowing an eerie blue color. Oh no, it's Reve! She tried shaking Italy more to get his attention but it was like she wasn't even there. Papa! Papa! Snap out of it!

Just then, Italy and Reve began walking away. Rose gave chase after them but stopped suddenly. Her feet seemed glued to the ground as she tried to move. Then she heard someone; "Rose, wake-up, please."

Rose blinked a few times and then found herself staring at the ceiling of the room Germany had placed her in. She looked to the left-side of the bed to see Noa standing there with a relieved look on her face. "Thank goodness you are okay," Noa sighed. "Germany was worried about you."

Noa allowed Rose to get out of the bed and get her bearings.

"Are you okay?"

"I-I think so."

****************

After being in the room with Canada, Emma, and her Father for a while, Naomi decided to try and get some fresh air outside. She hoped that that would ease her racing mind. She didn't stop by any of the rooms, she just walked straight by and down the hall. The Japanese girl made her way to the main room, where it was now clean. Naomi then noticed Germany, America, and Britain doing something outside and walked out there to find that they were burying the arcana. America was the first to notice her. "Naomi? What are you doing here?" He asked her. "S-Shouldn't you be resting? I mean, you and your Dad should, uh, you know, save up your strength."

Naomi didn't answer. She walked past the three men, picked a few flowers that were somehow still growing on the ground, and placed them on the grave for the arcana. Then she bowed her head and said a silent prayer, hoping that their souls would find eternal rest. "Poor girl," Britain whispered as Naomi had tears cascading down her face.

Once she finished with her prayer, Naomi just stared at the flowers that swayed in the wind. Then she dropped to her knees and sobbed into her hands. Germany went to her side and gave her a tissue to wipe her tears away. "It's okay Naomi."

Naomi then wrapped her arms around Germany's neck and sobbed into his shirt. Germany was caught completely off guard by the action. At this point, he had gotten use to Rose doing this but not Naomi. He sure was having a hard time getting use to the whole, "emotional outbursts" and everything. Still, he knew that Naomi and Japan had been through something awful. He put an arm around Naomi and rubbed circles on her back. "There, there Naomi. It's okay."

Naomi continued to sob into Germany's shirt, trying to convey her feelings about what she had witnessed without using words. When she had stopped crying, Germany noticed Naomi had cried herself to sleep and carried her back inside and to the room where Canada and Emma were staying with Japan. He handed the sleeping child over to Canada and then went to check back up on Rose, who had just awoken from the sudden sleep.

"Rose, are you all right?" Germany asked as soon as he saw the little girl awake.

Rose nodded. "I'm okay Mr. Germany," Rose tried to assure him.

"Vhy did you suddenly fall asleep?" He asked her.

"...I don't know."

"You don't know?"

"I, guess I was just sleepy or something." Rose tried to laugh it off to convince Germany that everything was okay but she wasn't fooling him. He knew there was something Rose wasn't telling him but he wouldn't push her for answers, for now at least.

What happened to Rose? Will there be any clear answers? Maybe....We'll just have to see.
