Sajana's P.O.V.
I was so mesmerized by the beautiful story that I didn't notice what time it was. It really was quite beautiful. Which is why I snapped out of my trance so suddenly when I saw the time.
"Oh my lord," I said. "I have to go!"
Ms. Perkins looked up at her mantel clock and nodded. I gulped down the "fresh" milk - it was pretty good, even though I had a weird feeling about it.
I walked towards the door, with Ms. Perkins behind me. She opened the door for me, but as I stepped down, she called out to me again.
"Oh, Sajana, I almost forgot to tell you something!"
I hopped back up the porch steps.
"Remember how I said that I actually need help? Well, it would be wonderful if you could assist me with something."
"What can I help you with?"
"Well," she replied, "I've got a room upstairs that needs organization, but I haven't gone up there in a really long time, and I can't go up there either. But I've got something very important in there, something that I want back but can't get. That's why I want that room cleaned up."
"Consider it done," I said brightly. "When would you like me to come over?"
"Tomorrow after noon, maybe?" Ms. Perkins suggested. I nodded and retreated back down the steps.
"Goodbye, Ms. Perkins, and thanks again for helping me!" I called out over my shoulder.
I strolled down the sidewalk feeling very pleased. That is, until I approached my house. I dreaded going in to see Luxshana.
How mad would she be?
