Gilda's P.O.V.

"Well," I said, breaking what was initially silence. "You can go home now."

"Oh sure," Sajana answered. "I'll be back tomorrow after school - depending on how much homework I have. I'll drop by and let you know regardless."

"Thank you," I said. "I really appreciate you helping me with my room upstairs."

Sajana got up and was about to leave when she stopped and turned around again.

"Wait," she murmured. "Something doesn't make sense."

"What would that be?"

"What were you expecting me to find in that room upstairs? And why are you unable to go there anyways? I mean, I know you have no trouble with getting up and down the stairs, but is there a reason you can't go in there? Is it the memories?"

"Partially," I replied, sighing. "I told you that I have severe arachnophobia. I can't stand to go in there for fear of seeing another spider. So if you see any up there, I would appreciate it if you got rid of them."

"Okay..." Sajana stretched out the word. "But you still haven't told me what you wanted me to find up there."

I mentally groaned, and I knew that if I wasn't careful, I would start up with the tears again.

"My wedding ring is up there," I whispered.
