Gilda's P.O.V.

The knock came again. But this time I wasn't startled. I knew it was Sajana coming to help me. Confidently, I walked up to the door and opened it with no hesitation this time.

"Good Afternoon, Sajana!" I greeted.

"Good Afternoon, Ms. Perkins," she said.

She entered my home and I led her to my living room. I handed her a cup of milk while I simply sipped at a glass of water.

"You sorted out everything with your sister?" I asked, casually.

"Yeah, we're good now."

"I'm glad to hear that," I beamed, but I could tell she didn't want to talk about it anymore.

"So,  what did you need help with, Ms. Perkins?"

"Please, just call me Gilda," I insisted. "And I need help cleaning one of my rooms upstairs."

Sajana snapped her finger in remembrance.

"Yes that's right," she recalled. " You said you've got something important in there?"

I gulped. I do indeed.

"Yes," I coughed. I tried to make it clear that I would not be giving any more information, and Sajana seemed to take the hint. She put her milk down on the table and stood up.

"Well, I'll get started then," she said. "Where is the room?"

"Do you need me to take you there?" I asked, though I was hoping she would say no.

"No," she assured me, thankfully. "Just tell me how to get there."

"When you get to the top of the stairs,  go down to the end of the hall and just before the window, there is a room with a closed door. That's the one. Just try to sort the things in there and sweep up a bit. My books need to be shelved on the shelf that is in the corner. The clothes need to be folded and... I suppose you can put them in the boxes. I think I can donate those. If there is any other junk, dust it off and set it up so that the room is... Presentable. There is a broom and duster in the hall closet."

"Whoa," chuckled Sajana. "That was a whole lot of instructions!"

"Can you handle it?"

"Yeah, yeah, of course I can."

"Alright then. I'll be down here if you need anything."

I watched as she made her way towards my stairwell. As I drifted off to sleep in my chair, I wondered how long it would take for her to find it.
