Zoey p.o.v

The driver drove into an underground parking lot, a private garage built for Marco. One I didn't know existed until now. I guess most of the other workers here have no idea of the place either.

The garage is considerably big. It is large  enough to accommodate more than ten cars. And when I looked around out of the car window, there were several cars. Several expensive cars that I know are worth millions of dollars, but, of course, this Marco.

A filthy rich billionaire.

The car rode to a stop, parking beside a sports car. I was quick to unlock the door and alighted the car, eager to see it more.

And they are all raven black, typical. I shook my head, but I loved it. I have this thing for dark colored cars, like brown, grey and black. But a special something for red cars.

I sighed, fascinated by the sight. I would love to ride in one of those black beauties.

Marco came to my side, he was scowling. He pinched the tip of his nose in what I assume was irritation.

"Next time, wait for me to open the door." He grits. "That's my obligation to you." He mumbled under his breath, thinking I wouldn't hear him.

I didn't say anything in return, I just followed beside him as he dragged me by my waist. I tried removing his hand but he tightened his grip even more, so I just let him.

We entered an elevator. The elevator took us straight to the penthouse that is attached to his office. His grip on my waist loosened and I stepped away from him.

"My room is there. Go take a nap, I'll be in my office." He informed me, already walking to the door that leads to his office.

"You wish." I scoffed and followed behind him. This time he didn't force me to do his bidding.

We entered the office and the first sound I heard was someone whistling. I followed the sound to the shelf beside the door. It was Marco's younger brother, Luciano, he was staring at us smirking as if to say he knew what was going on between us.

"Hello, brother." He teased. Marco grunted, not responding to him, but he glared at him.

I ignored them and walked out from behind Marco to my desk. On my way, I noticed another person in the room. It was a woman.

A perfectly gorgeous woman. She is a fake blonde-haired, probably a brunette who wished that they had been blonde instead. But nonetheless, she looked good in blonde, her face was caked with excessive make-up that even a blind man could see.

Even though she looks stunning in every aspect, I don't want to be her on a daily basis. Maybe occasionally, because I feel like this is how she looks like on a daily basis.

I didn't recognize her because she was sitting in front of Marco's desk and was pretending to be watching the view behind his desk. I didn't bother with her because I was sure that she must be his wife or something, and I didn't want her to think that Marco and I were involved in anything.

"What are you doing here?" I heard Marco questioning them, while I took my seat pretending not to hear them.

"Ouch!" it was Luciano who exclaimed. "That hurts, don't you want us here?" He added, forging sadness into his tone.

"Cut the fucking crap, why are you here?" Marco demanded. He pulled his seat out and sat down.

"You're being mean but I know the reason." He said with a smug look. "Did you two have a fight?" Luciano faced me, directing the question to me.

I stared at him from under my lashes, giving him the, what the hell look.

"LUCIANO!" both Marco and the woman echoed. Marco was glaring at him menacingly.

"What? He always has this stormy face whenever something like that happens." Luciano defended himself.

I was confused, the confusion must have been seen as I stared at their interaction. What is he talking about? Marco and I only just saw each other a few days ago.

"Alright, I'm serious now." He said and dropped on the other seat opposite Marco.

"Good, then tell me why you two are here. I don't have all day. And don't tell me you screwed up the deal I told you to handle." He warns.

"That's not possible and you know that, besides, I'm here for another business," Luciano said. I think I have an idea what that business is. They thought I wasn't watching and caught him gesturing towards me with his head.

Silently telling Marco that the business was a private one.

"And you, what are you here for?" Is it me or was he rude to his wife? That only had me thanking my stars for not being in her place. I rolled my eyes and turned on my laptop.

I'm not interested in their business, I referred to browsing through the net and doing irrelevant things right now rather than listening to them. Until she spoke.

"I was told that Zoey works here, so I'm here to see for myself." Okay, that got my interest. Why am I involved?

Please don't go thinking that I'm going to snatch your man. He's yours, babe. I'm definitely not a home wrecker.

She didn't wait for Marco to say anything, she stood up and came my way. She was smiling sweetly at me but I knew behind those smiles lay a dangerous woman.

I forced back a smile at her as she sat on the chair opposite mine. Looking close at her, she seemed familiar, but I doubt that.

"Hi Zoey, it is a pleasure to finally meet you again." Again? What was that supposed to mean?

"likewise." I smiled and shook her outstretched hand.

"I would like us to go out today for some catching up, what do you think?" She was so sweet I also fell for it. I glanced at Marco to see his reaction. But his stare was already fixed on me, like he was also waiting for my response.

"I bet my brother doesn't have a problem with it." She spoke when she saw me staring at Marco.

Wait. Brother?

"Camilla!" Marco called. Oh my goodness, how I did not recognize her. It was no wonder she looked familiar.

I stare at her with my mouth wide open, she has grown into a very beautiful and gorgeous woman.

"That's enough, you should go home now." He ordered. But I was still in shock to comprehend what he said.

"Zoey, please, it is years since we last saw each other, and I've always missed our times together. Pleasssssssssse." She pleaded.

"Camilla!!" Marco growled, irritated before I could say anything. "I told you to go home, you are supposed to be on your campus by now."

"But Luciano is still here and, besides, I don't have classes until 2pm."She negotiates.

"Let's go then, I don't have a problem with that. It's even better than sitting here and doing nothing." I said, already standing up and picking up my back. I sneaked a glance at Marco, he was just staring at me but his expression was unreadable.

I held Camilla in the hand and practically dragged her out before Macro decided to stop us.
