The body...
Many hours had passed in Midgard, so many moments, awkward, stressful and very silent in Freya's house.

Kratos had left for Helheim to find his daughter's soul but he still has not returned since the moment he left. He would certainly want to make sure that Berenice would be in every possible remote place so he would sit there for years.
But he was gone for several hours.

And Berenice's now living body remains the same on the tub. Freya still keeps her inside the tub filled with water and applies some treatments, many different charms, spells and procedures which however, do not help her condition.

Without her spirit returning with proper help to her body she may forever remain asleep, trapped in a cursed deep slumber. They just resurrected her and now they can't even feel her presence with them.
The resurrection was only of her body without knowing where her spirit really went or where exactly she was trapped.

As Freya continues the process in the water tub, Atreus keeps holding his sister's hand in his hands, which is still in the water, with wrinkled skin and Freya's treatments applied to it.
So many moments have passed, Berenice is breathing normally and her heart is beating at the same rate and yet she has shown no sign of communicating with the environment or any emotion, and this worries and stresses her little brother who spent so many hours crying for her, before her Resurrection and that it is now that he has started to partly calm down.

Atreus:I don't understand... it's been so many hours.

Freya talks to the boy as comfortingly and as gently she can while still continuing the process in Berenice near the tub.

Freya:At least her body is alright.
Atreus:Yes, but she is not with us... what happened to her soul?
Freya:The souls of the deceased can get lost very easily without any guidance. If someone who thinks they have lost everything finds themselves in an unknown place then it is easy for them to get lost. Some distant places of Helheim are not even found by the living beings but only by spirits.

Atreus keeps thinking of different and variant possible solutions that can possibly save his sister and he keeps holding her hand gently, but does not end up in anything but a mess of thinking.

Freya:Helheim's rifts with other spiritual lost worlds are difficult places to cross. If a spirit without abilities tries to pass through these gates then it can also disappear.
Atreus:Berrie is a goddess. She will get this through.

Freya smiles at him and puts her hand on the boy's head, ruffing his hair in support and hope that she may do more than that, but still she was precise and honest in her words.

A spirit cannot turn back in the living world that easily.

Freya:I wish I could do more than that... but Odin has stolen more of my magic than you can imagine.
Atreus:Then what should we do? We... we can't just leave her!
Freya:Let us just be patient.

Atreus briefly stands up, leaving his sister's hand hanging from out of the tub and starts taking a few paces around the house, upset and saddened that his sister still has not fully recovered and decides to leave Freya do her job in peace.

Then he approaches and glances at his sister's weapons, clothes, objects and armour sets forgotten and left at the other edge of the bed and he slowly begins to loot them all into a sack, so he will give them all to her later when and if she wakes up.

There among her belongings she finds that necklace that Sindri had given her a few days ago, with the braided mistletoe. He knows that if Freya sees it, she will take it from him immediately and that she will likely be angry as well, so he quickly wears it around his neck, secretly and under his fur so it will not be seen and saved for later, given to his sister.
