I watched last concert my band would ever play. We would never again be five seconds of summer. It changed us all. Flashes of white appeared, everyone in the crowd was holding something up. I couldn't quite see it from the clouds, but I did see something strange. That everyone seemed to be holding something, all but one girl. She leaned over and I caught a glimpse of her face. Elaine. "Take care of her boys," I whispered, "Like I never had the chance to do." I slowly got up and continued to climb the stairs to heaven. But stopped as I heard her voice, "Thanks Cal. For everything." I smiled. She'll be fine, I thought.
And with that last thought of hope for my one true love, I finished climbing the staircase.
