Third Person POV.

"Master Tighnari! Master Tighnari!"

Collei shouted, running through the leaves and tents of Grandharva Ville. She had a couple guests for her mentor to meet.

"Here, Collei."

A soft but smooth voice replied in a loud tone, calling from inside one of the tents near a large tree.

The green-haired girl skipped up the log steps and waved her hand back to the group behind her to follow her into the green tent. Collei parted the tent flaps with a smile and looked towards the boy with dark green hair, large ears, and a fluffy tail resting on the ground of the tent.

"Master Tighnari, I have guests for you to meet."

Tighnari turned around and smiled warmly to Collei, his under eyes squinting into small crescent moons.

"Who have you brought?"

Collei stepped inside with the others and stood beside the three of them, pointing to each one as she introduced them.

First was the boy with long blonde hair and an odd outfit on with a flying fairy next to his shoulder.

"That's Aether, and the little creature's name is Paimon."

The blonde boy— Aether, smiled and waved a small but welcoming wave to Tighnari, who waved back. But his attention was quickly shifted elsewhere as Collei pointed to the third boy who was taking off his dark cover to hold it in the crook of his right elbow against his chest, his long white hair glistening in the luminescent flowers and low lamp light in the tent.

"This is Mahamatra Cyno. He's in the jungle from the desert momentarily and wished to tag along."

Cyno nodded his head with Collei's words and gave a very soft grin in Tighnari's direction, holding his cover to his side.

Tighnari's cheeks dusted a light rose as his left ear twitched as he bowed his head slightly at Cyno.

"Mahamatra."

Collei looked at Aether and nodded, turning back to Tighnari.

"Master Tighnari— Aether, Paimon, and I wish to go out and follow a lead to something they were investigating before we ran into Mahamatra Cyno. May we be dismissed?"

"Sure, Collei. Be careful in the jungle at dark, it's dangerous."

Collei nodded before rushing through the tent flaps again with Aether following behind her, Paimon twinkling behind the both of them as she flew.

Tighnari's POV.

I watched as the three young adventurers ventured into the dark Chinvat Ravine until the tent flaps closed fully and they were out of my sight. By that time however, my attention had once again shifted to Cyno.

He walked to the wooden bench opposite me and set his cover on top of it before walking over to me with a grin, his eyes soft.

He wrapped his strong, scarred arm around my back and pulled me towards him until our bodies met. His other hand lifting my head up to look at him so he could peck my cheek.

"Think they caught on?"

I laughed warmly, resting my hand on his on my cheek.

"Doubtful, Mahamatra."

He rolled his eyes at the title and stared at me for a moment before wrapping both arms around me and hugging me tightly, his fingers gently burying into the fluff on my tail.

"I missed you, Nari."

He mumbled against my neck, his breathing calm as his breaths slowed down, his muscles visibly becoming less tense.
