Niragi POV

I woke up by myself for once looking at my phone, 06:57 am. when I saw the time I let out a groan and got up, grabbed my usual clothes, walked to the bathroom, and took a quick shower before heading out of the shower. drying myself off and putting on the clothes I grabbed. walking out of the bathroom grabbing my gun, cigarettes, and a lighter. quickly heading out the door.

It's been a while since I heard those footsteps behind me, that

quite nice not to feel like it followed. oh yeah that reminds me, Chishiya had the same experience. I should probably talk to him about them later if he has heard them recently. I get to the rooftop, hearing the door behind me close, or so I thought. I walked over to the edge of the building took out a cigarette from the pack, bore taking my lighter, and lits it. speak of the devil, I started to hear the small footsteps, walking across the concrete. It made me turn my head rather quickly. to see no one. "was that just my imagination?" I just try to shrug it off, before inhaling sharply and blowing out the smoke. That was when I felt my phone vibrate, in my poking grabbing my attention, I grabbed it making another sharp inhale and once again blowing it out. I looked at my screen, seeing an unread message.

I let out a sigh, having an idea who it was but to my surprise, it was not the person i thought.

Newbie: Aguni wants us in the meeting room, we are only missing you. Get going.

I know all the executives and had each other's numbers, id never figured he would be the one to text me, I let out a laugh. "what am I thinking"

Me: On my way. Read 08:23 am

With that, I got up, threw the rest of the cigarette on the ground stepped on it, and made it go out. Before heading toward the door. I quickly grabbed the handle of the door.

I stopped completely in my tracks turning around and having enough of this. "I have had enough, either you get you out where I can you, or I will shoot you the second I figure out who the hell you are," I say in a stern and annoyed answer. but nothing happened. " as you wish. I'm gonna enjoy this." I turn to open the door and slam it behind me. That's when I hear someone let out a sigh of relief. the witch grabbed my attention, and I decided to ignore it knowing that was a worse idea. I walked down the stairs. walking towards Hatters meeting room. I open the door and make my way over to the seat I normally sit in. "Took you long enough." hatter starts. I look up at him, not saying anything waiting for him to continue. "anyway, so we soon got all the Spade games, of course, we still need the duplicate cards. So, now that we almost got all the spade cards I'm gonna host a party. and everyone HAS to come. Does everyone understand?" hatter said. we all nodded. "great! I'm gonna announce it later. Meeting adjourned." we all got up, and I glanced over at Chishiya which caught his attention, and he lifted his eyebrow.

I just got up leaving, making him get up as well, following me. once we got out, I walked back towards the rooftop, making my way, over to the hallway with all the rooms and to a back door with stairs behind, walking up"Have you heard those footsteps?" I asked him, glancing at him. breaking the silence. "No, it's been a while since. Why?" he asked glancing back. "After you texted me, I heard them again. I turned around, but of course, there was no one," I say racing to the top of the stairs, opening the walking through Chishiya following behind me.
