Chapter 18

Chishiya POV

I was awoken by a banging on my door, I let out a groan, "GET UP! I heard you were back!" I heard a female voice say, I got up walked to the door, and opened it, to see Kuina, a big smile on her face, when she hugged me. "thank Jesus you're alive!" he said sounding relieved. " you thought I would have died? that's kinda rude." I said sarcastically and playfully rolled my eyes. " the plan is still in the working, we are finishing it tonight" I said in a whisper making her nod, "everyone is on edge since Aguni became the new nr 1" she said as we walked to the meeting room, "I could imagine, why are we here?" I asked with a raised eyebrow, "Aguni told me to go get you, but we'll talk later!" she said with a wave and walked off, I turned to the big doors and pushed them opened, and walked in, "Glad you could join" Aguni started and I gave him a nod and walked over to my usual seat, once I got to my seat, I immediately zoomed out, yet still being able to catch onto some of the things Aguni talked about.

He has 100% not gotten over hatters death, so he is most likely not living in the royal suit yet, he might move in soon, so I and Kuina need to move quickly. sooner or later he is gonna get over it or pretend to be.

"Any idea on how to solve it? Chishiya." I looked up at the mention of my name and I thought for a moment. putting the few words heard beig said thougheter. "increase the lookouts in the arrier and keep and eye on who is there, at the end, you might find the suspect" i said no emotion my face, making aguni nod, "good idea" he said, making me give a nod, this descussen kept on for a while, the meeting had finally ajourd and i was on my way out to find Kuina to get the plan started, but someone grabbed my arm, quickly making me turn around to be met with Niragi's face. "where are you off to shorty?" he said with a grin, "i was gonna find Kuina, its been awhile and i only saw her for a good minute." i simply said making him nod, "You done with the meeting?" i heard the same happy female voice say as i turn around to see Kuina, i gave her a nod, "Great! Now tell me about the game! and what was it?" i looked at kuin, she glanced at Niragi for a second with a confused look bore looking back at me. "it was 9 of heart, it was called warerwolf, you couldt get a role as either seer, bodyguard, villager or wolf. Wolf kills one player per night, seer gets the chance to reveal a role to the seer only the bodyguard can protect a player. so I and Niragi got the wolf and well won." I simply responded. "whoa! you two cooperating! I need to write that down cus that has not been seen before!" she said with a giggle making me roll my eyes playfully. "surprisingly not impossible." Niragi shrugged and walked off. "surprisingly indeed. I think that's the first time I've ever agreed with Niragi" Kuina said with a laugh. "wait you said the game was 9 of hearts?" "Yeah?" I simply answer making her eyes wide. "I swear... You are getting too good at these games.." she said as she started laughing, which made me let out a snort.

Soon enough night time came and the rest of the plan was set to work, Kuina was in place and so was I, "How are things over there, Kuina?" I asked her through the walkie-talkie standing in front of the royal suite. "All right I guess, Aguni is still in his room." I hear the voice of Kuina say, as I open the doors about to walk in, but Kuina's voice stops me for a second. "I'm dying of boredom over here." she said in a bored tone, "Well, let's go ahead with our plan, then," I said as I walked into the suite. "I have no idea if Arisu is smart or stupid" I stopped speaking as I was in the middle of the room, "There's no way they'd keep the cards in an ordinary safe" I continued so I stood behind a couch, "Then where do you think the real safe is?" I heard her ask a bit confused. "I took a breath, as I continued to speak, " I'm not sure, but when Arisu found the fake safe, Aguni who usually has a good poker face, was glancing towards something else. I think that whatever's in the envelope, isn't a code or some blank letter, I think it might just be a drawing." I finished as I approached the painting, Kuina didn't reply, I let out a sigh as I grabbed the painting took it off of its hanger, and put it on the ground, as I look back up at the wall to see the safe. "Found it," I say through the walkie-talkie, quickly getting a response from her. "So this is why you sacrificed them?" sounding like she finally understood it. "Yeah, well, you gotta give something to get something, they were just pawns, that's all. Shit happens," I said in a casual tone. "Yeah, well, all I know.." she took a break to breathe after continuing. "Is that I sure as hell wouldn't want to be your enemy." I heard that it reminded me of Arisu making me let out a soft chuckle. " Yeah, I get that a lot." as I said that, I put the code into the code 8-0-2-2. and the safe opened, as expected. The safe opened, and a box was sitting inside, I grabbed it opening it. seeing the cards, I grabbed the deck of cards closing the safe, after I got the cards I walked back out closed the doors behind me, and walked in the same direction I came from find Kuina where she was supposed to be.
