"H/n! Get down here we have to talk!" I heard my mum yell.
I walk downstairs to the living room where I see my teacher, my parents, the police and my sister standing in the corner of the room with a scared but worried look on her face.
"Please sit down h/n" the police officer gives a hand gesture that tells me to sit down.
I sit down on the couch as I'm told, confused.
"we will leave you guys to it" mum said gesturing that my sister comes out of the corner and follow mum upstairs.
"what's going on?" I ask the police officer.
" H/n, we are just going to ask some questions"
the officer tells me.
I nod.
" are you aware that you can't lie to the police?"
I nod again.
What the hell was going on??
"I've been told that you know y/n, and about her sexual assault."
"yes, I'm well aware of it actually why?"
"I would like to ask you about it."
"How did she tell you, when did she tell you, time and date of when she told you."
"oh uhm."
The police officer grabs a pen and paper and gets ready to write down everything I say. Holy shit.
If I could be mad at one person it'd be y/n. because of her the police is in my house, asking me about her sexual assault.
"Well, it was somewhat in the summer of 2020. We had just started talking to each other until one day I was outside in the mall with my friends and I got text from y/n. Saying she wanted to tell me something. So I told her sure just wait until my friends leave, after a few minutes I texted her and told her to meet me by the cafe upstairs." I began telling him.
oh gosh.
y/n is going to hate you h/n.
"She sat down in the chair and I looked at her and I could obviously see something was wrong. She began telling me that when she was in England the summer of 2019 for a month she was sexually assaulted. Molested most mornings when her mum left to go drop off the kids at school and nursery since they didn't have summer break yet. She tried telling her mum." I paused before asking if I could get a glass of water.
a million thoughts in my head, should've let my heart keep listening.
I'm still confused about this whole police thing.
I walked back to the couch and sat down while beginning to get ready to speak again.
"Her mum didn't believe her, so she called her husband/ y/n's stepfather to ask him if it was true. Only for y/n to find out he denied everything and then he started molesting her every morning when her mum wasn't home. That's it."

The next day when I came to school I tried my best to ignore y/n. She was on the stairs with Lexi , I didn't pay much attention to my outfit until y/n spoke.
" looks like he got right out of bed" she giggled.
I chuckled at the thought of it because I talked to the police last night, and I overslept so I was wearing my pjs.
After that I tried ignoring as best as I could, I did pretty well until y/n bumped into me.
She asked me where Lexi was.
I shoved her.
Of course I had to shove her. Now I felt bad.
