It's been weeks? I guess. Tom is now dating someone. H/n. he's gone. Erased from my mind.
I'm talking to this boy, his name? Easy it's Kyle. Funny story actually, he got my phone number from Tom. On Friday I call his phone number to find out who it is. As I do, I realise many things at once.
He knows Tom.
He knows all of them.

Me and him start snapping the same day. Over the weekend we start talking even more, calling each other babe, bae, giving each other compliments daily.

I love Kyle, he's everything Tom isn't. He's genuinely nice, funny and so sweet. He isn't as dry as Tom, he has more energy than him. Even though he gets so little sleep at night..Kyle makes me happy. He makes me happier than h/n and Tom combined. Kyle asks me what I'm doing throughout the day, or what Im doing tomorrow. Even how I am during the day, checking up on me asking me If I'm okay.
On the other hand Tom just said; ok, mhm, ye, no. I've realised that I need to come clean.
On Sunday I told Tom how I've felt about him. Only for him to start acting interested. no thanks I'll pass.
I got some closure from telling him, cause now I can go to Kyle. Me and Kyle have talked a lot on the phone. I appreciate that he listens and reassures me that I'll be okay.
He always lets me know where he's going, and if he'll be able to snap me or not. Even text. I was happy cause he actually wanted to talk, for once it wasn't a one sided relationship.
I gave it my everything.
Now we are here walking home with him.

"Kyle I swear to god, you're so annoying" I moan irritated.
"I'm not" He replies.
"Yes you are!" I snap back.
"My bad I'll stop pretty girl" He says smirking.
I look at him up and down. Admiring him. More attractive in person. Holy moly.
Honestly I think it hurts knowing already how it's going to go. But he knows, me. the real me.
Every now and then I look at Kyle and admire him. I can't help but feel like Kyle is the little something I was missing. Cause of Kyle I started trying more and giving life one last try. He's funny too not being rude I guess but he's definitely an upgrade from Tom.
We are about 5 mins away from my house when Kyle starts complaining again.
" Ughh, so many hills" He groans.
"Kyle, shut up I've had enough of you're complaining" I reply irritated.
"I'm not complaining though" he says looking at me with a smirk plastered on his face.
