Groggily, I woke up, outstretching my arms into the warm open space of the room. Kyle was still laying next to me, his eyes shut and his mouth letting out a cute quiet snore. Red curls fell all around his neat pillow case and one of his legs had managed to make its way out from under the cozy blanket, so it was now lazily hanging off the side of his bed. Softly, I wrapped one of his curls around my finger and watched it enthusiastically bounce back in to shape as I let go. Even when sleeping Kyle still managed to be the most handsome boy I have ever met. This may sound mean, but I'm glad I snagged him before Bebe could...! Slowly, his eyes began to open and they immediately shot in my direction once he had realised I was in his bed.
"Good morning Kyle, your bed is so comfortable, I didn't wanna wake up!" I complimented him, his bed is very comfy after all! Surprisingly, Kyle seemed to be very happy to be woken up by me.
"Morning (y/n)! I slept very well using you as a pillow." Kyle chuckled. All night, he had rested his head on my chest and had one of his arms wrapped snuggily around my waist.
"You look very cute with bedhead. Somehow it makes your curls look even more prominent." I giggled, playfully ruffling his hair and running each strand in between my fingers.
"I could say the same for you! This might sound really lame, but I hope you enjoyed what we did last night. I did!" He said, avoiding eye contact so I wouldn't be able to see his flustered face. I gently tucked some of his curly hair behind his ear so I could easily peek at his darling face.
"I enjoyed it more than you could ever know." I whispered into his ear and he cupped my cheek with his hand, giving me a quick and soft peck on the lips. Once we had both let go of each other, Kyle yawned and stood up, pulling the blanket off himself, before he grabbed his glasses off the nightstand and slid them onto his face.
"Kyle you wear glasses?!" I jokingly yelled, surprised by this sudden turn of events. I have never seen Kyle wear glasses before! He awkwardly chuckled and said
"Uh, yeah... Normally, I wear contacts cause I don't think glasses suit me very much."
"But you look so handsome when you wear them! They suit you way too much." I jumped out of bed and wrapped my arms around him, tightly squeezing him in an attempt to make him feel more confident about his glasses.
"Well, if you like them then I'll wear them more!" Kyle proudly said, returning my warm embrace with a small but enticing kiss on the forehead.

For once the sun outside was actually quite warm. While I was sat downstairs in Kyle's kitchen, rays of light came in through the window and bounced off the marble countertops, creating rainbows on the wall. Kyle was making pancakes for us as he thought it'd be romantic, and he was right! The atmosphere of the beautiful modern kitchen, the gorgeous roses in a vase in front of me and the rainbows cascading on the walls definitely made me feel a bit lovestruck.
"I hope you're hungry... I may have made too many." Kyle chuckled while walking towards the table, carrying a plate with probably 20 pancakes on it. They all looked delicious, but I don't think I could even eat half of those!
"Wow Kyle, how much pancake mix did you use?" I giggled, sliding one of them onto my place with a fork.
"Way too much...!" He let out a soft sigh before putting around 4 of the pancakes onto his plate. Wandering into the kitchen, drawn in by the aroma of the pancakes, was Ike. He seemed to be only around 9 years old.
"Kyle, kyle, kyle, kyle, can I have some pancakes please please please!" Ike continued repeatedly chanting please until Kyle stabbed a pancake with a fork and handed it to Ike as some sort of present.
"But I wanna sit here with you! You've never brought a girlfriend here before." Ike kept looking at me from the corner of his eye, almost as if he was too scared to look at me head on.
"I don't know Ike, we're just going to be talking about boring school stuff..." Kyle said sarcastically, rolling his eyes on the word school.
"Okay, but next time you have to promise I get to spend time with her! Bye bye lady." Ike said to me, finally looking in my direction and walking off before I could say a word, taking his pancake on a fork with him.
"He's a cute kid. You should've let him sit with us!" I jokingly glared at Kyle, softly kicking his legs underneath the table.
"There just seems to always be people with us except at night time! No one seems to want to give us any privacy!" He moaned, letting out a little sigh. The look in his eyes made it clear to me that he wasn't joking.
"Kyle, don't worry. Today can be all about us if you'd like that! I mean, it is Sunday." As soon as I finished my sentence, Kyle looked up at me with corny puppy dog eyes, his glasses nearly falling off his face.
"Are you kidding me, I'd love that more than anything!" He stood up and kissed me from across the table and then sat back down with a warm joyful smile on his face. Kyle's jewfro cutely bounced up and down each time he stood up or sat down, so whenever he kissed me his curls always tickled my face.
"Well I'm glad you're happy about it. People won't always be bothering us Kyle so don't worry about it!" I mumbled in a calming tone, trying to reassure him.
"Okay (y/n), I'll trust your intuition."
