Roxy: She took him into the maintenance halls. Foxy slightly protested at first, but she was persistent. Stuffing him into a spare parts closet. The two of them were alone, but she was here for answers. Then she turned around and pushed him against the wall.

"What are you up to? Why are you here?" She said with a stern tone. "Have you come to replace me? Do you think you are better than me?"

She expected an answer akin to something Monty said when he was introduced, smug and knowing what he was already meant to do. But, instead, Foxy was the complete opposite.

He shook his head and told her he had no idea what was happening, nor did he know where he was. To put it simply, Foxy was absolutely clueless, a clueless captain. So why did that make him adorable? She tried to be mean to him, but something was just keeping her from doing so too much.

"Just don't ever think you are better than me!" Roxy told him. "I am the best! And You are Nothing!"

Foxy flinched and nodded, looking at the ground. That strangely hurt her a bit. Roxy sighed, rested her hand on his face, and looked him in the eye. "Listen, you don't know what you are doing. So I guess I will help you. Do as I say, and don't take the spotlight off me. Got it?"

Foxy nodded. Before Roxy could lead him out to the Pizzaplex, Foxy said. "Um... hey. I just wanted to say that... Thank you for helping me with that little sinkhole thing. I owe you my life or what is left of my life. And you are lovely!"

Roxy felt her tail begin to wag. She just wanted to squeeze him right then and there. But remembered that there were children to entertain. So, nodding, she grabbed his arm and said, "I will show you the ropes! Just stick with me."

For the first time, she saw Foxy smile, and it melted her heart.

.........

Foxy: He had no idea where to go or what to do. His best bet was to follow Roxanne and stay quiet. Clearly, the company had rushed him into action. No training nor programmed steps. Typical Fazbear Entertainment move, he thought. Nothing has changed. It seems. The pizzeria might change, but the issues stay the same.

As he followed Roxy, Foxy thought about this new animatronic friend. She was clearly distinct from his old companions. Roxy was a rockstar, clearly. But she had... personality? He couldn't put his hook on what was precisely different. So I have to remain cautious and observant and watch for Him. Foxy had no choice but to follow Roxy around.

This place was massive, Foxy observed. It was way different from the old pizzeria he used to live in. There were so many floors and rooms to discover. They made their way up into the central plaza. So many kids were running around, with quite a few adults too. All of the adults made Foxy nervous. He stepped back into the shadows and tried to hide. Roxy noticed this and asked him if there was anything wrong.

Foxy couldn't focus. His optics were going crazy. It was analyzing everything in the room. All the adults, children, and even the objects. Weird analytics appeared in his vision. It was all so overwhelming. Finally, he sat down and gripped his forehead. Roxy gasped and ran to him.

"Foxy, what's wrong?" She asked, shaking him. "Are you infected with a virus? Do you need me to take you to the maintenance room? Do you need a recharge?"

Foxy could tell she was getting worried. Her tone had changed, and her ears were down. "Ma'am, eh Roxy, yer gonna get me seasick. Roxy!" Foxy pleaded. "It's... I just have no idea what is happening! So many, uh, pop-ups going on in my brain!"

She paused, and Foxy felt her grip relax.

"Ooohhh!" Roxy finally let out a sigh of relief. "It is just your new system. Wait, no one told you about your new software?"

"What's a soft ware?" Foxy asked.

Roxy gave him a blank look. "You are joking, right? She put her hands on her hips.

"Of course I am!" Foxy slowly stood up. "I just joke to get myself out of awkward situations." He noticed Roxy roll her eyes. I'm being a real dork, aren't I? He thought. "Anyways, what do all these numbers and weird shapes mean."

"Oh, don't worry about those. Those are mainly useless. However, the security alert system is the main one you should care about. I will show you that some other time though."

Foxy nodded and looked behind Roxy. A large group of children was heading their way, with their parents taking pictures of the two animatronics. He noticed this and alerted Roxy, who was helping him up. But, unfortunately, attention was never something Foxy craved. Unlike his previous companions in the past, Foxy liked to stay hidden. Buried in a world of his own thoughts. Only come out to do shows every once in a while.

Despite this, and Foxy's protesting, Roxy absorbed all the attention. It fascinated Foxy how much one could love that much praise and recognition. None of those things were familiar. Why? Foxy shook his head, and Roxy helped him get up. The group of children had gotten to the pair. A lot of little arms and hands reached up, trying to touch the two animatronics. Instinctively, Foxy stepped back, afraid he might hurt the children if he did anything. Roxy kneeled down and greeted the children. She looked thrilled and tugged Foxy back to the crowd.

"Children, this here is Foxy. Foxy the Pirate Fox. Say hi, everyone!"

"HI!" The massive group of children responded.

Why was she doing this? Foxy thought. It had already taken everything out of him to do the whole intro at the concert. But he knew it was his responsibility to entertain children, no matter how socially awkward he was. Roxy poked Foxy in the side, which brought him back to reality.

"Yarr! Ye heard that right, mateys!" Foxy proclaimed, swinging his hook. "I am the new and improved fifth member of the band!"

"YAY!" The children erupted. "New Friends!"

There were all kinds of pictures and videos taken of the two animatronics. The adults and children loved them. Foxy noticed Glamrock Chica out of the corner of his eye. Foxy had yet to meet the other animatronics, so he told Roxy of his intention to do so. Reluctantly, the animatronic wolf nodded and told the children that the pair had somewhere to be. "You can come to see us at rockstar row whenever you want! Just check the schedule to see when meet and greets are available! And remember, I am the best one here!"

"We'll see about that, lass," Foxy said, smiling. "Never underestimate the charisma of a pirate or a Fox, for that matter!"

"You dork," Roxy rolled her eyes as she took Foxy by the hand to find Glamrock Chica.

"What!? I'm trying, at least!"

Roxy giggled at that statement. Then, the couple made their way to the food stands. This is where Chica would typically be. From the corner of his eye, Foxy noticed a rabbit standing among the crowd. It had the most unsettling red eyes and an odd smile. This rabbit reminded him of someone. Bonnie, perhaps? No, someone else. Someone he couldn't put his hook on. Foxy blinked, and the rabbit was gone. It's a figment of the imagination. Nothing else, he thought.
