Foxy: I'm such a fool, Foxy, such a fool! Why didn't I notice somethin' was wrong sooner? Foxy paced anxiously outside Parts and Service, his thoughts jumbled with worry and guilt. He couldn't shake the feeling that he should've done something to protect Roxy and keep her malfunction from happening in the first place.

"I should've been there for her, been quicker to react," Foxy muttered, his fist clenched tightly in frustration. "She's hurt, and it's all my fault."

He kept glancing at the doors of Parts and Service, hoping to see Officer Fitzgerald, who might have news about Roxy's condition. He wished he could be there with her, comforting her, but was told to stay outside. *Bam!* Foxy punched the wall in an attempt to calm his mind. What if Roxy's malfunction was severe? What if she wouldn't be the same again? He'd always been prone to thinking of worst-case scenarios, and his anxiety was only adding fuel to the fire.

Fitzgerald emerged from the room, and Foxy rushed to her, praying for positive news. "How's Roxy? Is she okay? Please tell me she's okay, Fitz?" Foxy's voice trembled with worry.

The security guard gave a solemn nod. "You can calm down, Foxy. She's stable now. Besides some minor damage to her casing and wiring, she's doing fine. Though, I'll need to run some diagnostics to determine what caused the malfunction." *Yawn* "I was hoping to get some sleep today. Guess that's off the table."

"Oh, thank goodness!" Relief washed over Foxy, but it was quickly replaced by a sinking feeling. "Stable, but for how long? I should stay with her, make sure she's alright."

Fitz shook her head. "Look, Foxy, I know you care about her. But I need you to head to Pirate's Bay for your shift. You're already late and missed part of today's performance."

"Wait, what?" Foxy blinked, his heart sinking. "What do you mean I need to head off to my shift? I need to be with her, make sure she's alright. I can't just abandon her when she's in trouble!"

Fitzgerald's stern expression softened, sympathy apparent in her eyes. "Look, Foxy, I know you care about her. More so than you're willing to admit, actually. But I need you to head to Pirate's Bay for your shift. As much as I hate it, it is company policy."

"But... I can't just leave her like this." Foxy protested. What if somethin' else happens to her? What if she needs me? "I need to make sure she's alright!"

Fitz sighed, recognizing Foxy's internal conflict. "I promise I'll keep you updated on Roxy's status. But right now, she needs the repairs, and you must go to Pirate's Bay. She's in safe hands; I've worked on countless animatronics before. Now go on, Foxy, the kids are waiting for their favorite pirate." She patted Foxy on the back and gave a reassuring smile.

With a heavy heart, Foxy reluctantly nodded, his gaze lingering on the doors. Hang in there, Roxy. I'll be back as soon as I can. He limped away, the weight of worry and guilt still clinging to him as he went to Pirate's Bay.

...

Foxy stood outside Pirate's Bay, which was alive with the laughter and excitement of children, the colorful lights, and cheerful music. He took a deep breath and cleared his throat, preparing his best pirate voice and smile. As he stepped into the room, he was immediately engulfed by a swarm of enthusiastic kids.

"Foxy! Foxy! What happened with Roxy? Is she okay?" a young girl with pigtails asked, her eyes wide with concern.

"Yeah, Foxy, we heard she malfunctioned. And you saved her, right?" another chimed in, his eyes shining with admiration.

Foxy smiled warmly at the children, trying to answer their inquiries without revealing too much. "Aye, there was a bit of a hiccup during our show, but Roxy's gettin' fixed up now, and she'll be back in no time."
