Foxy: "Monty, what the hell?" Foxy fumed at the gator, his eye blazing with anger. "Why'd ya have to treat Roxy like that? What's your problem?"

"Oh, calm down, Foxy." Monty chuckled, dismissing Foxy's anger with a nonchalant wave of his tail. "Can't I have a bit of fun? Besides, it's best you get a reality check and know who she really is."

"Fun?!?" Foxy flinched as sparks flew out his side. "At Roxanne's expense? You know she's been through a lot lately with her malfunction. She don't deserve that!"

"She's a liability, Foxy. Always causing trouble. You're better off without her," Monty shrugged, indifferent to Foxy's words. "Look at you. Your endoskeleton is showing, and sparks are flying."

No! He's wrong. She's not a liability. She's... she's important to me. Foxy's heart pounded. "You're wrong..."

"Face it, Foxy," The gator pressed on, ignoring the fox. "You've got feelings for her. But you need to get rid of them. They'll only bring you trouble."

Feelings... for Roxy? Foxy hesitated, the truth lingering in his thoughts. I mean... He thought about Gregory's probing earlier and his failed ability to confess his feelings to Roxy. She has always been there for me...

"Don't deny it, Foxy. You're in deep, and it's gonna hurt you in the end. You need to cut ties before it's too late." Monty grabbed his golf club and pointed it at Foxy's side. "Hell, it already has."

I... I can't deny it anymore. I care about Roxy—more than anything else. Foxy turned away, torn between his love and the fear of what it might bring. "I-I don't know what you're talkin' about. And neither do you! Just leave it be."

"Let me spell it out for you. I don't like that wolf, and I sure as heck don't like the idea of you two getting close. I can see what's happening, as much as you deny it." Monty lowered his shades to reveal his eyes, filled with disdain. "Don't lie to yourself, Foxy. It's clear as day. You've got feelings for her, and you need to confront them. Get rid of them. It's for your own good."

He's right. I can't keep avoidin' this. Foxy thought, a knot forming in his chest. I love Roxy. But admitting it... that's another battle.

Fighting through the pain in his side, Foxy limped away from Monty and towards the elevator, Monty's taunts still ringing in his ears. Upon entering the elevator, Foxy noticed large, green-stained claw marks on the door and felt an instant pang of guilt. She closed these doors in a hurry.

I should've stood up for her. Why didn't I defend her more? She didn't deserve any of that. The cheerful elevator music directly opposed the pain Foxy felt in his heart. Did I hurt her by not speaking up? She must hate me now. Should I go find her? What if she doesn't wanna see me after what happened?

The elevator door opened, and Foxy quickly limped to Pirate's Bay, hoping to sneak in and cancel an event he was scheduled for. A kid ran up to him, but Foxy turned away, heading towards the Cupcake Shoppe. He didn't want to scare the children with his exposed endoskeleton... or cause an accident with the sparks flying out. Luckily, the Cupcake Shoppe was currently under construction. Apparently, one of the cielling machines fell down and crushed a generator, at least according to Chica. No one should be able to find him except for the construction bots running about.

Foxy went to the back of the bakery and found solace in the Chica's Feeding Frenzy arcade game, attempting to distract himself from everything.

"Hi, Foxy!"

"Yikes!" Foxy jumped. He turned around and saw Gregory standing behind him. "Howdy, Gregory. Good grief, you need to stop scaring me like that."

The kid smiled and hopped onto a nearby crate. "Soooo... How'd it go? Did you tell Roxy you like her?"
