Chapter 6

Gregory: He fell onto the tiled floor again. It was the exact location as last time. Oh no. No, no, no, no, no. Gregory tried to stay still and pass the night by. His mind began to wonder. Why is this happening again? What is this place? Where is this place? Nothing made sense. He waited for what seemed to have been an eternity, but the clock only moved forward a couple of minutes. *Sigh* Gregory stood up, preparing for a similar experience as last time

The crying was back. It seemed to be the same crying as the one in Foxy's room. Again, Gregory went up to the window. But this time, he saw the kid holding a flashlight. The kid shined it in many directions, clearly looking for something. Gregory noticed that there was an open door leading to the room. Curious, he went up to the doorway and peered through. He saw the kid jump a bit, quickly turn off the light, and shrink into the Foxy exoskeleton.

Gregory thought that was odd but walked in. He looked around and noticed that there were a couple of levers and buttons which belonged to something. Gregory didn't know what they meant but wanted to help the kid. So he kneeled, weirdly a lot taller than usual, and tried to lift the Foxy mask.

"NO!" The kid screamed. The kid sounded like he was struggling for his life. "NO, PLEASE! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!

This shook Gregory to his core. He tried to comfort the kid by saying, 'Hey, I'm not trying to hurt you. On the contrary, I want to help you!'

But instead, he said something in a deep, adult voice. A familiar voice. "Come on out, child." The adult said, chuckling. "You cannot escape. You cannot avoid death."

This reminded Gregory of Vanny, how she used to taunt him and make false promises that he had a family. He looked down at his hands. One was trying to tug the mask away from the child. The other hand held an incredibly sharp and bloodstained knife. He then looked at his torso. And realized that he was wearing a purple tie and suit. Horrified, Gregory discovered that he was the Purple Guy.

"You won't get hurt. Just come on out and let me help you." The purple guy said maliciously. He tugged the Foxy mask out of the kids' hands and raised the knife. That was when a music box started to play. Gregory/purple guy stopped and looked. That was when he felt a sharp pain in his leg. Quickly turning to the child who had grabbed his knife, he looked and realized that the kid had cut into his leg.

Gregory/purple guy yelled out in pain and stepped back. Without the knife, he was weaponless, so instead of trying to attack the child again, he retreated into the darkness. Wincing in pain, Gregory yelled out after Purple Guy punched his injury.

Suddenly, the dream's surroundings changed, and Gregory's body turned into the burned metallic corpse of Burntrap.

"I require more Remnant to be able to return!" Burntrap yelled at someone. "You have failed me long enough, Vanny!"

The familiar white rabbit stepped out of the darkness with glowing red eyes. The suit was burned slightly, but it was mainly the same as when Gregory last saw her. "Vanessa is gone, Afton. She died in the fire which trapped you here. Without her, I can focus entirely on bringing you back." Vanny took off the mask revealing the burned head of Vanessa. Gregory gasped in horror while Burntrap chuckled.

"You disappoint me. Tell me, Vanny, why has it taken you so long to acquire more remnant? The Pizzaplex has been open for months, so why have you continuously failed?"

Vanny took out her signature knife and examined its blade. "Because I have been observing. There is one particular animatronic which is... curious. For lack of a better term."

"I don't care about the animatronics! I no longer need a new body. That Bonnie one was sufficient enough! So give me one good reason to keep me from killing you right now?" Burntrap's hand began to glow for some reason. But Vanny didn't budge. Instead, the rabbit chuckled as she took a step towards Burntrap.
