Roxy: *Crash!* *Clang!* *KaBang!*
What the heck was that? Roxanne awoke to an unexpected noise. Irritated, she sat up on her couch, her ears perking toward the sound. Why did the vent door fall down? She frowned; maybe it was Gregory causing a ruckus. Ugh. She checked the time; it was five past six. The place doesn't open until seven... Roxy's thoughts drifted to Foxy and everything that happened the previous night. Her heart fluttered just thinking about him. Maybe we can do something before the day starts.
Roxanne quickly repaired the vent and began working on her hair, tail, and makeup. Maybe I should wake Foxy up... Then we can go to the East Arcade! Roxy's thoughts raced with anticipation. The idea of spending some quality time with Foxy before the day's performances and responsibilities made her tail wag uncontrollably.
Roxy put her brush on her desk and examined her tail. Was it fluffy enough? Or did Foxy prefer it smooth? Her thoughts swirled into a whirlwind of self-doubt. She shook her head, scolding herself. Stop overthinking everything!
With her preparations complete, Roxy tiptoed down the corridor. She pushed open Foxy's door, finding him still sleeping soundly on his side. Roxy gazed at Foxy, taking a moment to admire his peaceful expression as he slept. His arm dangled off the golden couch, adding to the charm she saw in him. Roxy approached the red fox with a soft, affectionate sigh. Leaning over the arm of the couch, she brushed a strand of hair away from Foxy's cheek and couldn't help but give him a gentle nuzzle.
"Rise and shine, sleepyhead," she whispered fondly, gently pressing her nose against Foxy's cheek.
Foxy stirred, his eye slowly fluttering open. "Huh, what? Oh, *Yawn* Mornin', Roxy. Yikes!" Foxy yelped as he rolled off the couch.
"Oh no!" Roxy said, feigning innocence while her tail wagged uncontrollably. She adored how Foxy always managed to be both endearing and comical simultaneously. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you."
Foxy clumsily blinked a couple of times, shaking his head rapidly. "I'm all good!" he managed to say, a hint of excitement in his voice. Roxanne extended her hand to help him up, and her heart raced as he took it. "That is definitely a way to wake up."
Roxanne giggled and playfully nudged his arm. "I didn't mean to startle you," she said with an innocent smile, her eyes filled with affection. "But I was thinking maybe someone special would like to join me at the arcade before the day gets busy?"
As Foxy got his bearings, he noticed some scattered tools and a barrel knocked over near his couch. "Hey, Roxy, did you leave some of your tools in here?" he asked, pointing to the tools.
Roxy sighed before leaning down to examine them and then shook her head, "No, those aren't mine. They are a bit too small." She raised an eyebrow. "They seem like the same tools Fitzgerald uses to repair us in Parts and Service."
Foxy scratched his head in confusion as he examined the tools. "Hmm, that's strange. Maybe a staff bot left them here last night by mistake. Anyways," He set the tools aside and turned his attention back to Roxy. "You mentioned doing something before the day gets busy. What do you have in mind?"
"How about a quick visit to the East Arcade? I was wondering if you'd like to join me at the arcade before the morning performance." Roxy asked again.
"Ooo, sure!" Foxy replied enthusiastically. "I haven't been to that one yet. Does it have Sea Crashers? That one's my favorite." He followed Roxanne out of his room.
Roxanne chuckled and led the way out of Rockstar Row. "Hm, I wonder why you'd like Sea Crashers so much," she teased. "But I believe it's there. Fitzgerald mentioned that the company moved several new arcades to that area, so it probably is."
