"Kenzo," I uttered the moment our eyes met. I suddenly felt a leap from my heart, not because I'm flustered by his presence; I feel anxious near him, especially after what happened during that day.

"O-oh, Aelia. Long time no see!" He cheerfully greeted as he realized who I was. I tried to act tough in front of him but I just end up looking like an idiot.

I heard Gael chuckled which made my blood boil more. Bakit ba kasi sila nandito?

"Sa wakas! Nandito na rin si Kenzo!"

Sabay kaming napalingon ni Kenzo nang magsalita mula sa likod namin si Gael. 

The situation made me shrug my shoulders as I decided to continue walking out from the office. Wala akong mapapalang matino rito sa dalawang ito.

I walked with my stilettos clicking the floor. Hindi na ako lumingon pa ulit sa office at dumiretso na lang sa campus cafeteria to unwind. Geez, I need some air right now. Hindi ko ineexpect na makikita ko sila rito ngayon. It's been years since we last met, nabigla tuloy sistema ko ngayon.

Argh! Get a grip, Aelia. Bakit ka ba naba-bother sa kanila? 

I ordered a pack of juice partnered with a plate of carbonara.

Ikain ko na lang ito.

I was about to take a sip from my juice when someone annoying suddenly placed his food on my table. 

Great, kahit kailan talaga nakakairita itong si Gael. 

Aalis na sana ako para lumipat ng upuan nang bigla namang dumating si Kenzo na may bitbit na crossini. Hinila niya ako pabalik sa inuupuan ko kanina. 

Napipikon na ako, literal. Close ba kaming tatlo para ganituhin nila ako?

"Ano bang kailangan niyo sa akin?!" Hindi ko na napigilang tanungin sila sa kung ano man ang pakay nila.

I saw Gael gulped before meeting my gaze making me glare at him.

"Kumain muna tayo," he said pero I just slammed my hands on the table.

Immature na kung immature pero ang pinakaayaw ko sa lahat ay ang sinasayang ang oras ko.

At isa pa, ayoko silang makita't makausap. Affected pa rin ako sa nangyari noon.

"Just... Just tell her, Gael," Kenzo said who is now busy munching on his crossini.

"Natatakot ako, mainit pa ulo niya. Ibang tao na lang kaya i-recruit ko? " he whispered at Kenzo pero narinig ko pa rin iyon. I just rolled my eyes at him, aba! Dapat lang matakot siya sa akin.

"If you can't convince her, then I'll also quit," sabi bigla ni Kenzo dahilan para mataranta si Gael.

Ano bang mayroon? Anong quit? Quit saan?

What's their agenda ba?

"Huwag naman ganoon, bro. Kailangan ko kayo," ani Gael dahilan para matawa nang bahagya si Kenzo.
