Chapter 4

Drew's POV

"Hey, I'm Kendall" this girl introduces herself to us. I saw her standing with Blair when we walked past them. From our research I know that she is Blair's cousin, but not someone we need to investigate.

Although she is a Vanderbilt, her part of the family is not really in charge of anything. From what we have learned her mother was the rebellious Vanderbilt kid and so as a result her family didn't give her much responsibility, even though she is an adult now. But this could be a way into their group with the suspects that we do need to get close to.

"Hey I'm-" Victoria says.

"Oh yeah, I know who you all are already. Pretty sure the entire school is going to know all of you by the start of first period. Gossip here spreads very fast and new kid information spreads even faster" she smiles.

"Well since you know who we are and I'm assuming you have already cyber stalked us, it seems only fair to know who you are" I say. We already know pretty much everything about her.

"That does seem fair" she shrugs.

"Well like I said I'm Kendall, but my full name is Kendall Vanderbilt-Stewart. Yes, Vanderbilt as in the school, unfortunately. As a descendant from the racist sexist prick founder of this hell hole, I formally apologize" my siblings all laugh a bit.

"Something you should definitely know about me is that I'm very blunt. Say it how it is and don't really care what people think. Um what else. I'm on the cheer team, throw the best parties in school, I'm bi, I'm single, oh and Blair is my cousin if it wasn't obvious that we are related"

This girl is very confident. For her being cousins with Blair they sure are really different.

"What about you all?" she asks.

"What about us?" Killian asks.

"Single? Taken? Straight? Gay?"

"You really are blunt"

"Well I'm bi and single" Callan answers. Then everyone else responds.

"Straight and single" Victoria.

"Straight and single" Killian.

"Straight and single" Navy.

"Bi and single" Sloane.

I don't respond and Kendall just stares at me waiting for me to answer her. I roll my eyes.

"Gay and single" I reluctantly reply.

"Glad to know I was right" she smirks.

Before any of us can say anything the bell rings for first period. Kendall walks away to her class. Me and my siblings look at each other before we go our separate ways. Our parent's hacked the school system to put us in classes with Blair, Connor, and Jake.

My first class is AP Chemistry. I first took this class when I was 16. And since then, I have had to take it 4 times. This will be the 5th time. Each time getting worse to take. At this point I don't pay attention to the lessons of any class because I could pass all the exams without having to study.

Normally I would get a seat in the back so that I can observe everyone, but since we are starting school late, I wait for everyone to enter class before I do to see which seat is available. And as I wait, I see every student that is in this class, which includes Blair Vanderbilt.

As I enter the classroom the teacher calls for me to come to the front of class and I do so. I already know this is the part where I have to introduce myself to the class and tell them something interesting about myself. To no surprise he tells me to do just that.

"Hi I'm Drew Brooks. I'm originally from New York and something interesting about me is that I can speak 6 languages"

"Oh that is interesting. Can you show us"

"No" I say with a straight face and walk to my seat. Don't get why that made the class laugh, but it did.

The only available seat to my surprise is the one next to Blair. What are the chances of that. Guess someone doesn't work well with others. I know she has a bite from her response earlier today when I asked her why she was the one giving us the tour. I wanted to see her response to my question. And what she said let me know more about her.

As I sit down, she doesn't even look at me. She stays looking down at the chemistry book. I've already gotten in her head. That was easy.

"What the hell are you looking at" I am caught off guard. I didn't even realize I was staring so much.

I run my eyes from her head to her feet and back up again. "Not much" I say before turning my attention back to the front of the classroom. I can see the rage on her face from the corner of my eye.

"What the hell is your problem with me?" she yell whispers at me.

"I don't have any problem with you. I simply answered your question"

"Well lets just get one thing clear. You are new here and I can have you easily kicked out at the snap of my fingers. So how about we quit it with the attitude. Got it" she turns her attention back to the board. There is a short pause between us. I can see the anger in her face.

"This is going to be fun" I say to myself and laugh a bit.
