25 : Warned You

Chapter 25

Blair's POV

Just as I felt like I finally had someone to talk to. Someone that brings me comfort and helps me forget about everything I have to deal with. I was mistaken. I thought that when I talked to Drew at school yesterday she would be there for me as support. I did not think she would get mad at me.

I know that it isn't realistic to think I will ever be able to be myself or do what I want with my parents controlling my life. Sometimes I feel like being selfish and just leaving. No turning back and just living my life, but how can I leave my brother to fend for himself. He will be the only one left to take over the family business and my parents will make him turn out like them. He does not deserve to go through the things they have done to me and our sister. I need to protect him.

*Text alert*

Drew Brooks 🏊: hey i'm outside

I did not think that I would be getting this text from Drew right now. She can not be here. If my mom or any of our security sees her this will end badly. I sneak out and run quickly to our meeting spot.

"Drew what are you doing here?!"

"You told me to meet you" she says with confusion.

"No I didn't"

"Yes you did" she shows me her phone. It is a text from me telling her to meet me here at 9:00 pm.

"I didn't send you that text"

"Then-" she is cut off by two cars pulling up quickly. One car is parked in front of her car and the other behind it so they are blocking her in, preventing her from being able to leave.

I can't see who is in the car because of the headlights, but once the shadows get closer I see Connor, my mother, and several guards. I walk in front of Drew, pulling her behind me.

"What is going on?" I ask my mother.

"I warned you to not see her and you did not listen"

"I haven't seen her. I didn't know she was coming. Someone texted her from my phone" I explain trying my best to convince my mother so nothing happens to Drew.

"Yes I know. I am the one that texted her"

"What? How? Why?" I ask my mother.

"I had someone from IT hack into your phone while you were asleep and text her. I know that you two talked during school. I have eyes everywhere Blair, you should know that by now. And since you do not listen then I guess I will have to deal with this myself"

The guards move towards Drew. "No don't touch her!" I shout and push against one of the guards. I am pushed out of the way by the guard. The other guards attempt to take a hold of her, but she fights them off. I don't know how she is so good at fighting but she drops three men to the floor.

"Is that all you got?" Drew tells my mother.

My mother has all the guards go after Drew. This time Drew does get hit. She still manages to keep herself up and off of them. I try to help her, but Connor grabs me and prevents me from moving to her. Seeing that Drew keeps beating her guards, my mother has them use their weapons. They all pull out their guns.

"You either stop fighting or I will have them shoot you"

"No!" I cry out. Fighting to save her.

"You don't scare me" Drew spits back.

"Mother please!" I shout as I continue to try to fight myself out of Connor's grasp.

Before I know it I hear something go off. It didn't sound like a gun but I don't know what it is. I see Drew drop to the floor with something on her shoulder sticking out.

"What did you do to her!"

"Calm down, she is just knocked out. It is a tranquilizer"

One of the guards lifts her up and puts her in the back of the car. I am forced into the car. I'm sitting between Connor and my mother. They drive us back to my house. Once we arrive they drag me to our garage. My mother opens a door that I never knew about. It was hidden behind a storage shelf.

As we walk down the steps I am pushed into a room. They bring Drew inside and tie her to a chair in the middle of the room.

After waiting for some time a guard comes in and throws a bucket of what I am assuming is ice cold water on Drew. She wakes up as soon as the water hits her. I am held back by a guard as I attempt to go to her. I want to go to her so badly. Once she comes to the realization of where she is, she tries to get free from the ties, but she can't.

"Now that you are unable to fight. You are going to sit there and tell me everything I want to know. Staring with telling me who the hell you are and who you are working for"

"I don't know what the hell you are talking about" Drew says with all seriousness. She tries to fight her way out of the restraints. My mom signs at the guard standing behind Drew. He gets in front of her and punches her in the face. Her head snaps to the side.

"Stop!" I shout. "Mother you don't need to do this. I promise I will never see her again please don't hurt her anymore"

My mother ignores my cries and continues to look at Drew. "Let's try this again. Tell me who you are and who you work for"

"Fuck you" Drew replies. The guard punches her again.

As my pleads get louder and my fighting continues my mom forces her men to get me out of the room. I am dragged up to my room by two guards. Connor follows behind.

"Give me your phone"

"No!"

"Give me your fucking phone Blair" he steps to me with anger.

"Fuck you!" I shout at him. He slaps me across the face and pushes me down on the bed. I try to fight him off, but he reaches into my pocket and takes my phone away. He walks out the room and locks it behind him. I am locked inside my own room with no way out.

Before I know it, it is the next day and I am still locked inside my room. I cried myself to sleep after realizing that I can not get out of here. There is a guard standing outside of my room in the hall and one standing outside under my balcony. I am constantly being watched.

Another day goes by and I am still in my room. The only time my door is open is when one of the guards comes in to give me food.

I have not been told anything or have been able to contact anyone else. I don't know what is happening. I don't know what my mother is doing to Drew.
