Mikha came back with two hot chocolates at hand and some famous macaroons for them to nibble. Both sitting while munching their food. Déjà vu, Same scenario on the night after the photoshoot, Aiah thought.
"Thank you for coming with me on this impromptu trip, Mikha, I appreciate it." Aiah said, smiling, showing her signature dimples, too.
"No worries, I am happy to be off service,", teasing the other one. Is it OK if we stay here for a while, we can watch the sunset? " Mikha shared. Aiah nodded.
Mikha keeps on glancing at her, admiring Aiah with less make–up and in a casual, relaxing outfit, nothing fancy, but she remains a goddess in her eyes. There is always a longing in her heart that somehow they will still go back to where they were as more than friends. She tried to move on, but each time she was involved with someone, she couldn't help but to compare them back to her.
Flashback.....
She will never forget that beautiful smile that rocks her world deep into her core. Mikha always stays in the library of Ateneo every afternoon just to see Aiah, who loves reading books. She used to admire her from afar, how Aiah smoothen her hair with her fingers when she was so engrossed with what she was reading. How pretty she remains, even when frowning or making up faces.
She can remember how Aiah glows when she was happy talking to her friends and classmates, plus those little dimples that she wore every time she smiles. Call her a stalker, but she truly admires the girl.
They both studying at Ateneo, Aiah in Business Administration & Management, and I am in Multi media Arts. Aiah was one vocal and visuals of BINI Band. They have met because of Stacey, who dragged her to an audition right after she heard her singing in the restroom, of all places.
From there, she became one of the cool kids on the campus. It gave her a chance to introduce herself to the group. Then, she became closed to everyone, but more with Aiah.
Mikhs was the happiest when she was with Aiah. For how many years, their friendship blooms into more than friends. Their bonds were so steady and became stronger until such time they never realised that they were drifting apart from each other.
Aiah noticed that Mikha was staring...."Hey Mikhs, is there something wrong? Mikha's memories were cut off by Aiah's question.
Mikha was wondering where Gelo was all day. Though she enjoys being with her ex-girlfriend all by herself, but she wants to avoid causing any trouble in their relationship.
"Aiah" still looking at her, "Are you in Gelo alright?" Mikha asked what was in her head.
"Why do you ask"? Aiah looks back at Mikha.
