Chapter 44

The group went back to the city after lunch. They needed to go back to their busy schedules, but all were happy for the well deserve break. Mikha drove Aiah back to her condo and agreed to see each other again the next day.

Aiah came home, seeing Gelo waiting outside her condo. The latter knows she is coming back today. Aiah is not expecting to see him after the bliss these past few days with Mikha. Though, she needed to talk to him, and tonight, she thought, will be the right time to do it.

Mikha reached the building of her penthouse with so much joy in her heart. When she was about to park her car, the security notified her that someone was waiting for her in the lobby. questioning who it was, she was not expecting anyone at that hour. Nonetheless, she went to the lobby, and it surprised her to see..... "Jazz!". She knows the latter was not meant to arrive yet for 4 more days.

"Surprised Love. I know you are wondering why I am here this early, right?, I miss you already. I can't wait to see you, so I asked my agent to rebook my flight, and here I am." Jazz smiling while hugging Mikha.

"Why you never say, so I can pick you up at the airport" Mikha feels stunned, she was not expecting Jazz to arrive this early.

"So where is the surprise there, if I mention it to you, huh?" Jazz responded, "I am tired, love, I didn't catch sleep the whole flight because I was too excited to see you."

"Sorry Love, Come on, let's go to my place, so you can rest, and I will tour you around tomorrow". Mikha said.

Jazz refused to eat out, so Mikha just ordered some food for them. They catch up for a bit until Jazz yawns while hugging her after their dinner. She encourages her to go shower, so they can get ready for bed.

Mikha sent a brief message to Aiah while Jazz was in the shower that she won't be able to meet her tomorrow because something came up, and she put the phone down afterwards.

Mikha uses the shower right after Jazz when suddenly Mikha's phone beep. Jazz saw Aiah's message on the screen. She would rather not conclude that the two were spending time together. Jazz did not want to entertain that thought yet. She wanted to believe that Mikha will not do such a thing to her. She will wait until Mikha will say it otherwise.

Mikha saw Jazz sleeping already when she came out of the shower. She put the blanket up to cover her girlfriend and kissed her forehead before turning off the light and exited the room. Mikha stayed in the lounge to get herself a drink before calling Stacey. She knows she is in deep trouble now. She knows she loves Aiah, but she is still reluctant about the latter's feeling for her. Not only that, but she was hurt by her so many times, and she is still engaged to Gelo. Jazz is always the safe option for her, who will always do everything to love her and not to hurt her.

"Stacey, what do I need to do now? She is here and wanting to meet our friends and my family," Mikha is pleading on the line.

"Mikha you're the only one who can answer to that. Along the way, you will hurt one of them or hurt yourself, but, you have to decide. You should choose the one who holds your heart more than ever, Mikha". Stacey said before ending the call.
