Mikha was trying not to put some colour into what is happening now. It will be nice to assume, but she would rather not feel hurt in the end.
For once, she wanted to be happy and follow her heart. So, she took her hand and walked to the dance floor.
Aiah encircled her hands at Mikha's waist and the latter put her arms around her neck. Both savouring the moment, Mikha leans her head on Aiah's shoulder. If they could stop the clock, they wanted to stay like that, dancing in a slow motion. For them, it feels like a film when everybody vanishes inside the boat. It is only the two of them dancing to soft music with the romantic view of the lighted tower. What a magical feeling.
Aiah embraces Mikha and starts closing her eyes. Confusion is imminent in her heart. She can feel her heart going wild at that moment. A good one, though. But her mind is in a whirlwind because of Mikha's presence. The whole time she is with Mikha, Gelo never comes across in her mind.
Mikha can feel both of their heartbeats. How she wished this moment will not end. Her love for Aiah becomes clearer. She misses her, and she wanted more than friends. She lifts her head and looks at Aiah. She wanted to read if this thing that was happening meant something to her.
Aiah also opens her eyes and stares back between Mikha's eyes and lips. Their faces are now inches apart, touching almost each other's nose. They are bound to kiss................ When the head of the boat announced, the journey ends here. Both never realized that they docked back at the port.
They smiled at each other and went back to their table to grab their coats. Both walking in silence.
The night is still young, and they are both having an adrenaline rush, blamed it on the wine that they consumed earlier on. They agreed to walk around the area before going back to the hotel.
Mikha invited her to go around the bridge, the Pont Neuf, close to where the boat docked. The air is cool and tolerable to walk. The view of the bridge in front of them is also lovely to look at night.
The buzzing sound of the street calms Aiah's mind while walking. The lights from private and public transport added to the glamour of the city. Everything feels so romantic right where they are now.
Just the two of them walking under the moonlight............
