"Yes, and this Basilica too behind you, though painted in white, you can see the beauty of it from below. It feels like you are in heaven." She added. "This church used to be a pagan place of worship and now this is one of the most visited places here in Paris." Aiah just nodded.
"Let's go inside and pray". Aiah invited Mikha.... They went in and sat together near the altar. Both kneeled... Mikha saw Aiah praying with her eyes closed. She looked back at the altar and prayed for Aiah to be happy and to receive whatever she was praying for just now. They both lighted a candle and stayed longer to see the whole place. When they had enough, they left afterwards to look at the view of the city from outside.
Mikha volunteered to take some photos of Aiah while on the hill and the same way with her camera. Aiah asked a favour from one tourist to capture some photos of them together and dragged Mikha beside her. Mikhs was beyond surprised to be asked, though they are friends already, but she still thinks about what Gelo will say about it.
The tourist handed in the phone after taking multiple shots of the two. They received both a remark about how adorable they are as a couple. They were both flustered, but they just said thank you and started walking.
"Are you alright to walk again? We are going to that Arc of Triumph. Mikha said to break the awkwardness from the tourist comment.". Aiah just nodded, still flustered about it.
They needed to go down a steep stairs, and Mikha lent her arm for Aiah to hold. Aiah accepts it.
The Champs Elysée is their next stop, where the Arc de Triumph was built. "There is one like this in London called Marble Arch," Mikha shared. Again, they took some photos together. It was around 6pm when they reached their next stop, the famous Trocadero where you can see the best view of the Eiffel Tower and the sunset. Mikha asked Aiah to sit on one step overlooking the view.
"Are you hungry? I can buy some hot drinks for both of us, and some light meal and then later on we can have a proper dinner. I promised to give you one, right?" Mikha asked.
"To be honest, I am not hungry at all, but one hot drink will please. Thank you." Aiah said, smiling.
"Right, I won't take long. There is a small shop along the corner. Just stay here." Mikha said.
Aiah looks back at the view. The whole disappointment from her fiancé this morning vanished in a thin air because of Mikha's presence.
