Destined to be together

Chapter 4

Of all the people to see, they could not have to believe of whom they saw in the restaurant. The person who Mikhs was longing to see again now she is here in front of her. She confirmed that the person she saw earlier was real.

Aiah was dressed up lovely with her off–shoulder black dress. She is radiating with so much beauty and exuding so much confidence while walking. Mikhs was mesmerised by seeing Aiah and failed to see that the latter was walking hand in hand with their former band rival Gelo. She knew him as a member of the band BGYO from LaSalle University.

Mikhs has some mixed emotions about their sudden meet up, but she feels excited seeing her again. She thought Aiah becomes more beautiful as she ages, with her charm that never fades to impress her. She wears the same smile and elegance that anyone will stop and look at when she walks. One thing she knows for sure is she misses her?

Stacey was the one who cuts off her reverie, and wave to the two long-lost friends across them. Gelo was the one who noticed Stacey. He smiled and waved back. He pointed at Aiah. That their two friends are here. Aiah was facing back and never noticed at first who Gelo was waving. Then she turned and saw the person who ones occupied her heart. She was frowning when she saw Stacey having dinner with her. She didn't know if she felt jealous, but she was not happy either.

Mikha and Stacey were both smiling at their two friends, whom they have not seen for quite some time. Stacey stood up and walks closer to the couple and greeted them well. Mikha was just looking at their table with a faked smile.

Aiah knows a smile does not reach Mikhs heart, her eyes mirrored sadness and longing. Neither of her somewhat feels the same way. She touched her left chest to feel her heart. She can feel her heart beat becoming loud and fast. "Is she excited or mesmerized to see her again". She blinks twice and tried to focus her attention back to Gelo.

Gelo noticed that Aiah turned pale,. He held her hand and asked if she was OK. The latter just nodded and squeezed back his hand to give him a reassurance.

She could not imagine why Mikhs was with Stacku. Questioning if they are together now. Aiah understands her friend used to be very vocal about having a girl crush on Mikhs. Now, to see them having a lovely meal in this famous restaurant is preposterous.

That they were in Paris of all the places was unreal. They used to plan this place when they were together. She feels somewhat mad, frustrated, and disappointed. But why? She has someone now who she sets her heart to be engaged. She should not feel this way, especially since they just saw each other again after 5 long years.
