Stacey and Mikha went home first to see their respective family after the surprised party. They mutually agreed to come to Anilao Batangas to stay in the newly built resort of their Ate Colet and Ate Maloi before they open it to the public.
The whole family of Mikha is static to be with here in their house in Cavite. It has been a while since she attended a family gathering, ever since she started working abroad. They do not mind visiting her in NYC, but they prefer her to come home instead.
Mikha's family has embraced her preferences wholeheartedly since she came out to them. They witnessed her relationship with Aiah. How happy she was with her and how hurt she was when they drifted apart. So, they are beyond grateful now that she is going to bring someone new. The only thing they wanted was for Mikha to be happy again.
It was past 11 at night and Mikha still could not sleep, so she stayed in their lounge playing her guitar. Her dad approached her and offered her a glass of red wine, which she gladly accepted. Mikha's dad noticed something was bothering her the minute she walked on their doorstep.
"Hey, kiddo, is there something you want to share with your old man". Mikha's dad encouraging her to talk.
"I guess I can't hide anything from you dad, right?" Mikha started.
"You know I am all ears for you always. I know something is bugging you, so try me!" Her dad said.
Mikha released a long sighed and related all the talks she had with Aiah from the previous night and her current relationship with Jazz. She mentioned how confused she is presently and, she is afraid to be hurt again.
"Mikha, you know what you need to do. You are just ignoring it because you are still hurting." Her dad started. "Don't you think you are hurting them too by not being truthful with yourself? Use this and this... while pointing at her heart and mind. Do not rush Mikhs, you will know your answer when you find the missing piece of your puzzle.
"Dad, I think you confuse me more there". Mikha scratches her head. Her dad smiled widely, messes her hair and reminded her not to stay up too late and left.
THE NEXT DAY....
All suggested meeting up at Colet and Maloi's place, so they can all go together to their Beach Resort. They all agreed to stay there for 5 days to relax and enjoy their break from work. The trio was in one car while Gwen, Sheena and Jho will use a separate car. For the remaining pair, of course, the trio planned them already. They are just waiting for them to arrive.
The trio started loading their stuff into their cars when Mikha arrived driving their family Range Rover. While the other 3 remained in their car waiting for them to go, Sheena was their designated driver. Colet will drive the car for the trio and Mikha wanted to drive by herself since she mentioned she misses it. The trio is smirking, thinking that they won't need to convince her to drive then.
They were about to go when Aiah arrived, taking out her stuff from the taxi. Mikha was surprised to see her and when she was about to protest, Colet was putting Aiah's stuff already in her car. She said it's much better that Aiah join her, so she has someone to talk to while driving. This will be a long journey, Mikha whispered and smiled at Aiah.
