~Day 1~
I walk by. You don't notice. From the pit of my stomach, I wish you did.
~Day 2~
I walk by. You glance at me slightly then look away. From the bottom of my mind I wonder what that means.
~Day 3~
I walk by. You throw a quick smile my way before turning away. For an instance, my heart takes a leap.
~Day 4~
I walk by. You wave and I wave back. I turn around. A girl beside me is also waving. She runs up to you. My lungs stop functioning.
~Day 5~
You walk by, with an arm wrapped around her. You shrug your free shoulder. A tiny frown appears for just a moment. My head hurts.
~Day 6~
You walk by. Alone. Your eyes are pleading but I look away. My face shows no sorrow.
~Day 7~
You walk by, with a sad song in your heart. I don't notice. My knees shake as I walk away.**************************************
