An eternity ago
We are gathered in a small room, covered with darkness
All is clam, all is right
The soft whispers fill the room
Echoing through the empty space
The rain pattering on the roof top, gently tickling the surface
All is calm, all is right
Flash forwardThe sun beats down
Reflecting off the broken glass
A nearby horse greets us with delight
Pulling behind it an empty wagon
Soon to be filled with our goods
Neighbors bring over freshly baked bread
The smell is a warm, welcoming sensation
But soon-to-be devoured
We watch as the horse trots away
Wagon full of merchandise
We toss the left-over bread crumbs
To the birds, who are circle overhead, intrigued
The sun beats down, reflecting off the broken glass
Flash forwardWe gather around the fire pit with marshmallows on our sticks and songs in our hearts
The gentle humming fills the empty space
We laugh, we share memories
An owl calls out in the distance
Another follows
The harmony is heart-warming
Sitting around the fire
It crackles, it sparks
But it is pieced together, creating a miracle
We laugh, we share memories
Oh, but this was an eternity ago

Where The Sun Meets The Skyline
شِعرIt takes just the right kind of light to create such a sight. But that's the beauty of it; it only happens when the timing is right. This a collection of poems written by yours truly. Hope you enjoy!
