Sevyn had gotten ready for bed after finally getting Lola to go to sleep. She crawled into her bed and yawned laying back on her pillow and getting on her phone.

She was well aware of Dayvon and his new life. Everyone kept telling her to call him out and make him pay child support or do something petty. But she didn't care about what he had going on.

She resented him tremendously and would rather suffer in silence than ever use a dime of his money. To her he wasn't Lola's father at all, he never knew her and Lola sure as hell didn't know he existed and Sevyn wanted to keep it that way for as long as she could.

He gave Sevyn some of the worst depression and pain she had ever went through after he ghosted her and Lola. She had trust issues too, very bad trust issues which is the main reason she never tried to get into a relationship after him.

Dayvon was truly her first everything and he just left her alone after promising to her so many times he would never. She knew it was risky to move to Atlanta since he spent most of his time there but she planned on living here way before she even met Dayvon and wasn't about to let him get in her way.

"They only gave my dad six years...but why did he only serve three? He's getting out soon. I know he is going to come looking for me." Sevyn was on the phone with India while she was just cleaning up around the house.

"He doesn't know anything about you right? Like about Lola or that you left Chicago?"

"No of course not...haven't talked to him or well, seen him since that trial.." She put the phone on speaker as she walked into the kitchen, thinking about what she wanted to make for lunch.

"Hey Sevyn, I think there's something you should know. Durk told me that D—"

"No.. I don't care. India really? You know I don't want to know or hear anything about him."

"But he knows that—"

"Look, I haven't seen him since I was 18...and even then I was more mature than he'll ever be. I don't care anymore about what he's doing or how much money he makes and that I should find and make him pay child support." Sevyn cut her off before she could say anything else about him.

"Ugh...girl you never just listen. Whatever, when you bringing Lola over here so she can play with my baby you know they besties."

"Bring Willow over here, I wanna babysit she so sweet I love her." Sevyn laughed as she pulled some chicken nuggets from the freezer.

"Shitttt ain't gotta tell me twice. I'm on the way now." India exclaimed, relieved she was about to get some free time.

"Hollon I didn't say today—....okay." Sevyn smacked her lips with another laugh after India hung up quickly. She made her and Lola some lunch before they sat on the couch eating chicken nuggets and fries while watching Princess and the Frog.
