Chp. 9 Story Time!!

Sooyoon's POV

I sighed as I walked to school. Well, if he's really changed, I'd give him another chance.. As a friend. I continued walking and began thinking.

I don't want to get hurt. Not after what Peniel did to me. But I am curious if he's changed or not.. Should I? "SOOYOON!!"

I turned and smiled. Taehyung...

Taehyung: So, hows your morning so far??

"Its been ok I guess, haha.."

Taehyung: Well, since I'm here now, I'll make it better for you!!

He flashed his signature smile and I couldn't help but giggle.

Taehyung: And about yesterday, what happend between you and Peniel?

I blinked. I honestly wasn't expecting him to ask me this. I haven't told a single soul besides Minji.. Should I tell him?

Taehyung's POV

I glanced at her. Maybe she doesn't want to tell me yet? Man, maybe I should just stay out of it. I opened my mouth to drop the idea, but she cut me off, surprising me.

Sooyoon: Well, you see, me and Peniel were like, bestfriends in grade school. We always share secrets, thoughts, feelings, and a lot more. I guess you can say he was my best guy friend, aside Minji.
When I was in middle school, he confessed to me, but I only thought of him as a brother. Therefore, I rejected him as nicely as I could. But, rejecting some one isn't so nice huh? The next day, everything changed. I walked into my classroom, and all eyes were glued to me. The students started whispering and giggling and making fun of me. I didn't understand why. During lunch, I was shunned and I went to Peniel for company.

She paused and took in a breath from the talk. I looked at her and saw tears forming in her eyes.

Sooyoon: He pushed me away, like he didn't know who I was. What he said really hurt me. He told me that he was just using me, to get close with me and then throw me down like what he was doing now. My best friend. I thought he was always there for me. People started making fun of me, calling names, being rude, and it eventually led to bullying. Everything we shared was all gone. All the secrets were out. I was an outcast. Minji was the only one who stood by my side to protect me. Since then, no one looked at me. I eventually told my parents to transfer me to a new school. I lied, saying that I wanted to make new friends, but what I really meant was 'I want to start a new life. I don't want to be like this any more. I don't want to be bullied any more.' I never thought that my best friend would stab me in the back like that. That's why, everything that occurred yesterday happened.

I watched her tears roll down her cheeks. I clenched my fists and jaw, anger swarming all over me. I knew that Peniel guy was bad news.

"So, he wants to start over, huh?" I asked through me clenched teeth. She smiled weakly

Sooyoon: Yeah... Im thinking about acquainting him again, seeing if hes truley changed

I sighed. "Well, I guess its alright.. But if anything happens, I'm going to do something about it." She looks at me, surprised. As we approached the school gates, I planted my hands on her shoulders.

"I'll always be here for you, don't worry. I'll protect you."

A/N Hey guys!! Sorry for such a late update!! Hehe, that rhymes.. Anyways, I apologize I haven't written or typed for so long, and to be honest, I wasn't busy at all. I just kinda forgot about this I guess
