Chp. 37 One Week

Taehyung's POV

I walked around the school campus, looking for Jabari. Where is he? If I can get him to come to the press conference this afternoon, the entire scandal would be solved. I scanned the hallways and the library. "Who are you looking for??," a voice asked. I turned around to see Jai leaning against the wall with one of his backpack's straps on his shoulder. "I'm trying to find Jabari, but apparently he's a ghost now."

Jai: Last time I saw him was with Sooyoon outside. But then again, that was a few hours ago.

I sighed and walked towards him. "Yeah, very helpful," I said sarcastically.  I took out my phone and dialed his number in. After ringing a couple of times, he finally picks up.

Jabari: What do you want?? I'm kinda busy.

"Can you meet me by the basketball court?? I need to talk to you and ask for a favor," I said as I walked to the Sports and Athletics building. I heard him sigh.

Jabari: I'll see you in a bit.

He hung up and I slipped my phone back into my pocket. I thought back when Jai mentioned Jabari was with Sooyoon. Thoughts ran through my mind and I ended up confusing myself. What am I thinking??? I scratched the back of my head and sighed. There's no way he could have a thing for Sooyoon. They hate each other. 

Jabari: Woah, where are you going in a hurry?? I thought we were meeting by the basketball court, no??

I gasped and looked up. "When did you get here??," I asked. "We were just on the phone a second ago."

Jabari: No, we were on the phone ten minutes ago. Are you ok???

I am so confused... Did time really skip ahead?? "Yeah, never mind that.. I wanted to talk to you about the 'scandal'."

Jabari: Really??? What, are you gonna beat the shit out of me for no reason again???

"No, I just wanted to confirm that your intentions were true. Did you really try to help her???," I questioned. He sighs and rolls his eyes.

Jabari: Well, no shit, Sherlock. I've been trying to tell everybody that but no one listens.

"Look, I'm sorry for being an ass.. You know that I really care about her.. And as for the favor, I wanted to ask if you could come to our next press conference to help clear things up.

Jabari: Hmmm... You're saying that I should help you after all you've done to me??? I don't know man.

He crosses his arms in front of his chest while shifting his weight to his other leg. "Look, I apologize for all of that. Can't we just let it go???? Ummm... I'll treat you to an all you can eat barbecue like I did back at home," I bargained.

Jabari: Hmmm... What else are you going to give me???

I groaned and looked around, trying to think of other things I could give him to have him help me. "I'll do whatever you want for the next twenty four hours," I suggested. He nodded slightly.

Jabari: We have a deal. Will your manager allow me into the conference though??

"I'm not sure.. I'll have to talk to him about it first," I sighed. Hopefully he won't freak out at the fact there is basically two Jimins.

Jabari: Oh, and there's one more thing that you should know.

"What is it??"

Jabari: ... The general is dead and your family is in danger. Asmodeus has come to destroy your kingdom and will do whatever it takes to obliterate the royal blood line. I suggest that you get your head out of the clouds and stop running after Sooyoon. You have to come home with us to stop Asmodeus.
