Chp. 8 How You been?

V's POV

I started laughing at her reaction. She got up and hit my shoulder. "Yah! That hurts!!" I exclaimed. She began hitting me even more as I covered myself.

Sooyoon: Don't ever do that again!!! I almost had a heart attack because of you!!

I chuckled and teased her.

Sooyoon: And its not funny either!

"Yeah, but from my perspective, it was funny as hell. You should've seen your own reaction!," I giggled. She pouted and stomped to her locker.

"So, what were you thinking about so deeply that made you sink into your own little world?," I asked. She sighed and took a deep breath.

Sooyoon: Well, Minji obviously likes soneone and she won't tell me who it is. She was talking about this prom thing and I said that there were plenty of guys to choose from since she practically has a fan club, and then she says, 'but its not HIM' (voice imitation).

"Wait, hold on... A prom? When?" She laughed.

Sooyoon: She said that the prom is next month.

I was about to say something else, but the bell rang and made me lose my train of thought.

Sooyoon: Well, I'll see you later, I guess... Bye Oppa!

I froze and stared at her. She slowly caught on and covered her mouth.

Sooyoon: O-omo.. U-mmm...

She quickly turned and walked away while blushing. I chuckled at her reaction and headed to class.

Sooyoon's POV

What the heck!! I'm so stupid!! Ughhhh, stupid mouth!! I can't believe I said that..

Teacher: Class, we'll be having a new student in here. Come on in.

Another new student already? Geez...

Student: Annyeonghassaeo, my name is Peniel, please treat me well.

My head shot up. Um, who now?!

The bell rang as class ended for lunch. I quickly packed my backpack and hurried to the door.

Peniel: Wait!

I stopped in the middle of the aisle. What am I supposed to do?

Peniel: I just wanted to ask how you have been.

"U-umm.. I've been well, thanks for asking. Bye," I answered. I felt him pull on my wrist.

Peniel: Please don't leave. I really want to stay with you. I've even changed for you! Can't we even be friends anymore?

I sighed. "We're going to miss lunch. I need to go now." He stepped in front of me and held my hands.

Peniel: Why are you acting like this?

My heart tugged and I pulled my hands away. "Why don't you ask yourself that?" I asked as I gave him a cold look.

Peniel: Look, if its still about that-

"You think its that easy to forgive you?! After what you've done to me?! I don't think so." My chest felt heavy as I pulled away. I walked towards the door but he grabbed me once more.

Peniel: Sooyoon-

Taehyung: She said leave her alone, so leave her alone. Now if you'll excuse us, we have to attend lunch.

Taehyung grabbed my hands and led me out of the room. I stopped walking. "Thanks," I said. He looked at me.

Taehyung: Do you know that guy? What did he do to you? Are you ok?

I sighed and nodded. "I'm fine. What're you doing out here? Don't you have third lunch?," I asked, changing the subject.

Taehyung: Yeah. I was going to the restroom but I stopped because I heard you in distress.

I laughed. "Whatever. You better get back to class. The teacher will be looking for you." He grabbed my hands.

Taehyung: If he still bothers you, come to me, ok?

I smiled and nodded. He's so sweet sometimes... O.o

Minji: Hey! What's wrong?

"Huh? Oh. Um, nothing.. I just have things on my mind..." I replied.

Minji: Its Peniel, isn't it?

I stayed quiet. She sighed and hugged me.

Minji: Its ok. I'll be right here like a good friend should be. Did he say anything to you?

"Well, he just asks if we could be friends again and he even says that he's changed for me... But I'm just afraid that I'll fall for him and get hurt again in the process.."

Minji: But haven't you already fallen for Taehyung?

I glared at her. "Minji!" She giggled and raised her hands in surrender.

Minji: I'm kidding, I'm kidding!!! But you can't deny it forever, haha...

I sighed and pinched my nose bridge. "Anyway, what do you think I should do?," I asked.

Minji: Well, if he's really changed, I'd give him another chance, but as a friend..

"You think?" I asked. She nodded. "I'm just scared... If it happens again, I mean.. I don't want to get anymore hurt than I already was..."
