Taehyung's POV
As soon as I saw Peniel slap her, I ran behind him and pulled him back by his collar. The second he turned around to see who it was, I swung at his face multiple times.
I kneed him in the chest, kicked him, pushed him, whatever that came to my mind and then I stopped, panting, hand trembling with rage.
"Don't you ever lay a finger on her!!," I yelled. He scoffs and wipes the corner of his lip.
Peniel: or what?? What will the great Kim Taehyung do?? Huh?!? Beat me to death?? Throw me on a pit of sharks?? Send me to aliens and get me abducted???
"You have no idea of what I'm capable of!!"
Peniel: oh really?? And what makes you think that? Huh?! Just because Sooyoon's on your side, you're acting all heroic?!?! What a fake!!!
I threw a punch at him again, but this time, he's smart enough to dodge it.
"Come and fight me you little cunt!!"
Sooyoon's POV
I stood there, holding onto my cheek and watched the two fight. Despite the things that Peniel did to me, and despite the fact that Taehyung hates his guts, I can't stand watching the two of them fight like this.
I ran up to Taehyung and hugged him from behind. "Please stop... Please stop fighting..," I said. Tears filled my eyes and threatened to fall.
I felt his body slowly relax and his arms holding onto mine.
Taehyung's POV
I felt her arms wrapped around my waist and felt at ease. I glared at the boy and raised a fist, making him flinch.
"Leave. If you ever look at her, talk to her, touch her or even think about her, I won't let you live to see the sun rise," I growled.
He gets up and smirks.
Peniel: no guarantees..
And with that, he walked away, disappearing through the doorway.
I turned and faced Sooyoon, who was still holding onto me. I smiled softly and hugged her back. "Everything's ok.. I'm here now."
Soft sniffles came from her as the front of my shirt slowly dampened. It only made me hold her tighter. "I won't let anyone treat you this way. I promise that as long as I'm alive, I'll always be there, wherever you might be to protect you."
